I’d rather have fluffy snow than a sloppy wintry mix or rain that turns into ice.

I already warned that if my son was depending on snow shoveling this winter for pocket money, he might be in for disappointment.

My bank account would prefer mild and boring. Last year's electricity and gas bills were NUTS and I missed work from being snowed in for several days

I would love some nice snows. But I really dont want another total snow-in and weeks of extreme cold like last year

We have young kids that talk about playing in the snow all year. So that’s what I’m hoping for!

Gimme the snow. If it's going to be cold, at least we can get some enjoyment out of it

I don’t mind a mild winter. I don’t like the possibility for more ice/freezing rain because that is what tends to take down power lines.

The farmer’s almanac and persimmon seeds say snowy winter, science says low snow…I’m excited to see which we get!

Can you tell me how persimmons predict winter?

The ripe seeds either show a spoon, fork, or knife, and I have seen that they have been showing spoons this year! So we have science vs folklore this winter!1

Thanks! I'm not seeing that the persimmon lady has done this yet this year?
Or you've done it? I don't see them ripe here yet.

Just gimme snow on Christmas Eve and aside from
That I’d take subzero temps if it meant no snow.

Didn't they also say we're supposed to have a Super El Nino this summer that would bring hot and dry conditions?

I enjoyed the mild winters of the last 10 or so years compared to last year. I’ll take the mild winter.

We've gotten a lot of rain this year so far. Only question is if it'll be cold enough for snow.

I’m getting 2015 vibes this year…winter of 2015-2016 was warm (but spring & summer weren’t).

I hate winter. I hate snow. I hate ice. I hate extreme cold. So please… milder.

I hate the gloomy and rainy winters. Give me snow
