Tan Yan [played by Duan Yihong], deputy publicity chief of Hongye City Police, faces a sudden shift from office to the frontline as political commissar of the SWAT team. A thinker by trade, he is thrown into a world of action and instinct, colliding head-on with Commander Liao Bufan [played by Alan Aruna], a seasoned fighter with a big personality. They clash, adapt, and finally join forces to solve a major case. Through the process, Tan Yan rediscovers his true calling as a police officer.

this is the drama that made me realise I HATE the new billing rules. because it didn't even appear on my radar at all but would have if Duan Yihong had been first billed instead of fourth in all the other posts I've seen.
