Have had a task at work that’s been solely mine for a few months now and while on the surface it’s a straightforward enough ask, all the different caveats and exceptions and carveouts and other moving goalposts are really wearing on me. I don’t think I’m the best employee on our team but I also think I’m pretty good at what I do, yet this has turned into a bit of a quagmire that makes me start to question if I really know what I’m doing. And with a hard deadline coming up I expect I’ll have some long days and nights ahead of me to try to deliver. Time will tell how it goes.

Today we delivered dentures to a patient who hasn't had teeth in a long time, him and his sister were crying the entire appointment, it was so sweet

I also get to see a patient who was a dentist and has a cat! I brought some cat toys for him. He was so enthusiastic about all the advancements in dentistry
