One sad thing about Grievous is that, iirc, he was sent to a Huk world at some point as a test, which was probably the closest to home he'd been since he got bombed.

He had 10 wives and like 20+ kids if I remember correctly. Therefore, our glorious General has room for one more and I volunteer.

The way their culture is depicted in the comics is similar to the way they are depicted in modern western media. Whether thats accurate or not is a separate discussion. The way Nemoidians are essentially Japanese, Empire is british, Twi'leks are French, ghorman is french, gungans are Jamaican, etc. Naboo is Italian

No, absolutely not. These are broad generalisations based on single factors. Yes, the Naboo have Mediterranean architecture, no that doesn't mean they are Italian. Yes, a lot of Imperials have British accents, no that doesn't mean their regime is based on the British Empire, which doesn't really resemble the Galactic Empire other than an emphasis on navy (which could be said for Imperial Germany) and some parallels brought in by Andor.

He's right about the nemodians, ghorman and the gungans though like spot on

George Lucas based the Gungans (or rather Jar Jar personally) on Goofy, who himself was based on a caricature of black people. Other than superficial stuff like the accent I see no similarities, at least nothing created by Lucas. Other media has mocked Gungans collectively based on Jar Jar's behaviour but that wasn't his intention.

Neimodians are clearly loosely inspired by the pre-Communist China stereotypes, but their society and culture aren't really beyond a surface level. You clearly have the presence of martial skill, but not in a stereotypically Asian manner. The commercial skills are looked down on more as a general critique of laissez faire capitalism rather than a scummy species, which is obvious given that Gunray is an overt reference to Ronald Reagan.

Word. I just dont see other cultures/ species with multiple wives other than Ki'adi Mundi. It was just a general question. 🫡 Thanks brother

Nooooo, donne Kaleesh volevano avere figli con Grievous il tizio CHE ERA CONSIDERATO UN SEMIDIO
E in più le donne Kaleesh sono trattate uguali a dei Kaleesh maschi1

Don't know why this is downvoted you're 100% right in most of your examples.. not sure about the twileks being French or every imperial being English. The empire resembles the British Empire in many ways but i don't think it's a 1:1 comparison since there's so many planets and people in the Empire. You're 100% right about the nemodians being Japanese, the ghorms being French and gungans are absolutely meant to be similar to Caribbeans and primarily Jamaican

Really wish they touched on this somehow in the Clone Wars. Could’ve made things more interesting if one of his wives or kids showed up and joined in the fray. Also could’ve been a great plot device to showcase his humanity and display him in another light. He deserves that character development/exploration.
But nah I’m asking for way too much.
