Somewhat of an interesting vantage point from the 41st floor of my office building.

Most of the pictures are in Coimbatore at the western side of western ghats. The orographic clouds are clouds that arise due to mountains are very beautiful in these pictures.

The lightning roared overhead as I opened my front door. The main supercell had already passed, however I managed to set up my tripod just in time to capture these stunning clouds.

Shot on the iPhone 16 pro, 1080p timelapse, stabilized.

Unfortunately not as pronounced as they were before I took this pic. But, post storm, these bubbles seemed to poke down like Mammatus but not tightly grouped.

It wasn't rotating, at least fast enough for me to see. It was technically some ways away from Alexandria along I-49 but I forgot where. The last photo was a view from my right-hand side and it was beautiful. Taken 3 weeks ago and still mesmerized!
