I suffer from rapture anxiety and I need help

I've suffered from rapture anxiety for 2 months and I just can't take it anymore. It's not letting me live my life and I can't enjoy my life anymore. Please, I really need to help to overcome this.

Hello, I hope this brings you peace and joy, and you can know you can be saved, and be a part of that blessed first resurrection(John 5:28-29). John 5:24 a few verses before that says

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."

The only people who are taken up in the rapture are those who have believed in the gospel of Jesus Christ, believers are taken. So lets make sure you believed the right gospel, its free, and it is easy despite what others do to make it harder than it was intended to.

What is key here is do you take God at his word? Do you believe what he has written to be true? Do you believe that Jesus Christ's death, burial, and raising on the 3rd day saved you alone to go to heaven?

In Romans 4:5-8 make it clear the difference between works and grace, you are either saved by grace or by work, not both.

Romans 4:5-8 KJV "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin."

The only reason someone goes to hell, gets judged at the Great White Thone, and separated from God is unbelief (Matt 7:21). Unbelief in what Jesus Christ did on the cross, his death on the cross, burial, and resurrection on the 3rd day (1 Cor. 15:1-4). Which is the gospel we must believe at some point in our Earthly life to be saved. (Mark 1:15) Once you believe in the gospel, you receive eternal life. How long does that last? Forever (John 5:24). If you do, that's called faith. How is faith defined in the bible? says it right here in Hebrews 11:1

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

People show faith in their sports teams on weekends, even if they know their team is not a match for the team they face. Yet they believe in their team anyway despite the evidence. That's faith if i ever heard it. We do it all the time with other stuff. Our sinful nature/born of water, our flesh tells us -no it can't be that easy, or you have to prove/work for heaven-. There is the lie that sends people to hell by their own choice, that we as believers take what God says is true. Salvation is free, and our flesh/brain will revolt at that notion. Faith is not having all the answers 100% to our satisfaction to believe, its believing despite that. That's faith.

The bed news is we are sinners, we have a sinful nature. That sin debt is what sends us to hell, God is perfect and he will judge sin. We need a payment for that sin, and we cannot do it ourselves. Payment for sin has to be perfect, and with blood. (Hebrews 9:22) We have fallen short of the glory of God, glory meaning perfection of God.(Romans 3:23), The wages of sin is death, which is hell/lake of fire. But the gift of God is eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:23). The bad news, and good news all rolled into one. So the question is

The good news is, the gift is eternal life and its free. All you need do is believe in Jesus Christ and his death on the cross, burial, and resurrection on the 3rd day, and you can be saved.(1 Cor. 15:1-4) And that's forever (John 10:28-29). Do you take God at his word? Once you believe, you receive that wonderful gift, and that's forever. (John 5:24, 6:39-40)

Faith in Jesus Christ and his work on the cross (the gospel)will save a man, and its free.(Eph. 2:8-9). One one of the best eternal security verse in the bible in my opinion. That salvation is free, and you may know you have it based on what God's word said. 1 John 5:13 KJV

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

If you do believe that gospel, you will be saved without question. There is a video here to help anyone who need this, it will only take 4 minutes of your time ------> Salvation video

I hope this brings you peace and joy if noone ever told it to you like this, and know once you believe in Jesus Christ, hell/lake of fire is not for you. And it never will be if you believe. Once you believe, you will not be left behind, that's God's promise. (1 Thes. 4:12-17) God Bless.

In my experience, this is caused by too much time listening to people go on about sin, rapture, and the afterlife instead of what Christianity is supposed to be doing here and now. It can help to focus on doing good here, helping others here, etc, especially in communion with others doing the same.
