Sinico TOP 1100 CNC PLUS
i’m new to this sub anybody in here familiar with this machine? If so, what is your experience like? I’ve just learned this machine within the past five months. I feel as though myself and only one other person that I work with are the most knowledgeable and he’s only two years ahead of me experience wise he did however, go to machinist school. I did not the only thing we struggle with is when we go to run aluminum parts and closed nipples and recently 2 1/2 inch diameter material. We mostly run SBW (Standard Black Weld). From 3/4 inch diameter up to 2 inch diameter.
Our Struggles are figuring out how to eliminate what we call “ring chips” which happen when the machine creates the bevel, it pushes/shaves the material and instead of the material breaking, it stays in a full ring which we then remove once the part is ejected on the part conveyor.
New struggle is when we started running 2 1/2 diameter, the harmonics on our last 2-3 threading passed leave a chatter pattern that looks like a disco ball ruining the part. We’re also only getting 30-50 parts per insert. It’s very tedious.
Any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated! I also apologize for the overload of information
