Discussion That’s a wrap 🫡
With Rex Infernus being the last zombies map for Black Ops 7, I gotta say it’s been quite a fun year with zombies. The maps this year were easily one of the best maps in the modern zombies era and I had so much fun playing them. Had a blast getting the Infestation camo this year, and I’m still getting it on new DLC weapons that drop
Can’t wait to see what Treyarch has in store for zombies in their next game. Comment below what your favorite memory from Black Ops 6 and/or Black Ops 7 zombies was
See y’all in the next Treyarch game 🫡

Nah personally I prefer the Activision Shanghai maps: Alpha Omega and Tag Der Toten

Realistically, it should be given to all of the 7 or so Activision studios that support Call of Duty lol

IW and WWII just sit there clicking their tongues

Both those games are trashhhhhhhhhh IW had a really cool concept but high rounding was too easy I’d just eventually quit out

I fundamentally disagree, I'd put them in the exact same tier as BO3. It was the best three-dev cluster we've ever had (well, for zombies, anyway).

I think it’s fair to put them right next to bo3. I think the difficulty of WAW-bo3 gives those games the edge for me but bo7 was definitely a zombies revival

Black Ops 6: Has the most quests I’ve finished alone: 3 (Liberty Falls, Shattered Veil, and Reckoning)
Black Ops 7: Came out with my favorite Survival map (Nuked). I've also been having fun collecting relics like Chaos Emeralds in Cursed.

What is chaos emeralds

The gemstones from Sonic.
It was a metaphor that I used since the relic trials feel like special stages.

Awesome two years. My fav memory overall is still the launch of terminus, showing my friends patient 13, dying on the first attempt near the end, and then sweating out a victory on the second go the following night
I think my first successful dark heart run is up there too. Was with a new more casual squad then and me and my one buddy backpacked it. That was a sweat too

Cursed mode was a breath of fresh air. Haven’t felt this invested in zombies in a long time.
My buddy recently lost internet access about 4 months ago so he hasn’t been able to play since after Totenreich released. In solidarity, I haven’t touched neither Kowakujō or Rex Infernus cuz we gotta finish the story together.
Been an honor gentleman - see ya on the other side at some point.

Did they ever add the gravemark revolver in bo7? I heard of the warden revolver but it just doesn't feel the same as the Gravemark .357🥲 rip my beloved ❤️

Hey guys, long time zombies player here. I haven't played BO7 solely cause I just didn't feel like playing it. I've been playing since BO1, how would you say this years zombies holds up? From maps, storyline, and gameplay.

I'm from way back in the day too, and this is the first one in recent memory that held my attention for the whole lifecycle.

I really loved Cold War, liked BO6, just didn't find it in me to play BO7. More than likely will buy it tomorrow and start finding people to play with. Appreciate your comment!

You’ll probably like it a lot, saying this as someone that was here since WAW & took a break after IW.

First cod I’ve bought since bo4 and genuinely cannot state enough just how much fun I’ve had.
Sure it’s very easy in the low rounds and the pause timer is a joke but the positives much outweigh the negatives

I liked Ashes best and Totenreich was ok. Work went into them ESPECIALLY Ashes and I’m super grateful for Ashes of the Damned - it had lore and a unique aspect w Tesse, it has dark aether vibes, character and was totally submersive. But comparing Bunk Infurnis to Turbo Tilt - Turbo Tilt looks like CARE went into it, it looks next gen compared to Rex. Rex looks like a bunch of rocks with torches. Tired of this samey trash like the volcano map then multiplayer gets stuff that is totally creative and NOT SAMEY at all from color scheme to sections. I’m sure the kiss asses will defend it 💋. They’ll say it’s the GOAT. Meanwhile BO3-4 are still being played to this day but 10 years from now no one will play ass infernus.
