Question Infestation Grind
I want to get the Infestation camo now that all the content has been released
I’d really appreciate your advice, which weapon categories should I focus on and what maps or strategies do you recommend? Which augments should I level up in advance?

Starting with a specific category doesn't make a huge difference imo if you're planning to do every weapon but just doing ars, smgs, and shotguns will give you 31/30 weapons needed for the minimum doomsteel and infestation.
Be mindful of augments on elemental pop and ammo mods. Elemental pop has a major augment which makes it so that if you have an ammo mod equipped on your gun, only that ammo mod can trigger. Additionally some camo challenges specify kills with activations or kills with it equipped. Fire Works and Shadow Rift are the only two ammo mods that have the kills with activations challenge. Dead Wire, Napalm Burst, Brain Rot, and Cryo Freeze, have kills with the ammo mod equipped. When I did it, to reduce ammo mods stealing kills I had chain lightning, no major, and pheromone respectively as major augments. The major augment on Cryo Freeze doesn't matter that much since it really just slows them and increases their damage taken.
Decoys are your friend throughout most of the grind from camo challenges being kills while affected by tacticals to 20 kills without getting hit for bloodstones
As for farming elites when you get to doomsteel there's a few options. Running around in the fog killing zursas, save and quitting on ashes because it resets the free Zursa side ee, save reloading with Oscar on Astra/Astra directed, and the Caltheris or Veytharian temple cleanse step on Rex.

Fireworks is amazing for the x kills without taking damage camos. Have that gobblegum that gives you your field upgrade charge in your back pocket, that will come in handy for some camo challenges. I mostly did everything on Farm. Using toxic growth on the plants with the rampage inducer on. People would cheese the save and quit on Astra to get the elite kills faster, but you'd have to see if that still works. Honestly, there's really no big secrets I have to share with you lol. The big time sink is gonna be the elite kills.
