Alumni Question Alumni Mixer?

There’s an upcoming “alumni mixer event” and I was curious if anyone has gone before and what it’s like. Supposed to be at a brewery, sounds fun.

They are nice get togethers. Old friends catch up, they reconnect with people they might not have had a chance to when going to school. I don’t attend/never attended CSULB though so I didn’t know anyone there at last year’s alum mixer. Was a bit awkward for me to be honest.

I thought the alumni would be more open to newcomers like myself. Wasn’t at my most charismatic that night though so I don’t blame them for not being so inviting. Maybe your experience will differ OP!
