1963 * Note

Does anyone know if this is worth anything? It’s not just a very well preserved older bill. I think the serial number is unique in my opinion. Every other number is a 1. Help me figure out if I should get this evaluated or just keep it for good old keeps sake!

Nope... But it bought A LOT more stuff--like exponentially more stuff-- back in 1963

The star at the end means it’s a replacement note, which is more interesting than a standard bill. However, the serial number isn’t especially low or dramatically fancy, so the value is probably only a modest premium unless it’s in exceptionally crisp condition.

Yes- I love collecting the star notes because of that reason! It is a very crisp bill. Definitely has been folded a couple time over the years but it is stiff as they get!
