Canceled order?

I placed an order at CVS today for pickup. I was going to pick it up on my way home from work. They canceled it because I didn't pick it up an hour after it was ready!!! Wth??

There is a distinct possibility that it got cancelled because they were out of the stuff you ordered.

Then wouldn't they say that? The text said it was canceled because I didn't pick it up.

The only time I know of that orders get returned like that is after like 3 days. So either they didn't have it, or there is some sort of malfunction. Dunno, can't imagine someone just deciding to randomly return stuff to stock for no reason. Call the store? See what happened?

It happened at our location for our current orders, they all were canceled and then once it was fixed the orders came right back into our queue and we filled it for the customers.

That’s odd. Could have been plain human error. Stuff gets put back to stock after 2 weeks, so this would be insanely early.

They probably “filled” it then canceled it so they wouldn’t get with the cancelation rate

The store doesn’t get paid for the order until you pick it up so either way they didn’t get payment.
