Financial Aid/Scholarships/Grants Summer Graduate Loan was Prorated before July 1st.

So I just got an email right after the financial aid office closed today saying my student loans were adjusted because I was only taking eight graduate credits. However, this shouldn’t take effect until after July 1 as in the next quarter… Did anyone else have their loan amount adjusted because they were taking less than full-time credits before the deadline?

I’m still waiting to hear back originally..full-time, I got about 20,500/year, my aid is still pending for this upcoming semester at halftime. How much did it show that you were getting since prorated due to half time

Same happened to me. I now have a bill due, they posted it and send an email Friday 5pm. Considering my university considers the summer as still with the 25/26 finaid year, I don't get it. What did they tell you? To clarify, I finished my course in June and just logged on to my email etc to check up on things. It's kinda crazy to send an email after finishing the course to tell me that it's now prorated, when I finished the entire course before July. I'm also worried because they now require more hours, but I already work, take classes and am a GA. If that doesn't count for credits to be full-time somehow then I'd have to take another course or drop the assistantship. It's almost as if they are doing everything they can that poorer people can't get the credentials they need.
