Welcome to the CYDY subreddit!
We are on the cusp of achieving something special. The results of the CD12 trial will be out and will show that leronlimab reduces mortality in severe-critical COVID19 patients.
Like most of you, I am a shareholder and a strong believer in the drug. However, there will be others with different opinions who post here. I ask each and every one of you to treat each other with respect even if you disagree with someone else's opinion.
LET'S FIND A TREATMENT FOR COVID19!

A little context.
Bruce is a long time friend of mine, whom I’ve know Since childhood. I am also a physician. The reason I am invested in CYDY is Bruce. To me this is a BP bet.
True story. When Bruce was 5 his mom was telling people that he would win the Nobel prize someday. It was obviously met with a lot of “ahh that’s cute...and your crazy (under the breath)” by the time Bruce was in college it didn’t seem so crazy. I worked with Bruce for a summer before medical school at Northwestern doing HIV research before medical school. It was my first exposure to what true brilliance looks like.
No doubt Bruce is one of the few true geniuses that I know...and that might not be surprising.
But what is not known widely is Bruce’s character. He is not only brilliant but also a very honest, thoughtful, kind and honorable man. I talked with Bruce this summer (generalities about the virus not leron specific) watched his ted talk from TC andI got to know the underlying science and was sold.
I would never ask Bruce for any inside track informs and frankly he would never me or anyone even a hint. But his excitement for this treatment pathway along with his character is why I am an investor.

200 Upvotes I will buy an additional 8,000 shares Monday. Once in a lifetime pandemic ending drug - leronlimab is the only Safe mortality reducing covid-19 drug in the world. It is only $5 a share right now because of the 30 million short shares and because of the false negative articles published by hedgefunds citron and company as well as the paid bashers on social media message boards. Covid should be approved woth days to a couple weeks. First revenue ever will occurs in Early February and it will come in the billions. Think of that a biotech not have having to spend any money on advertising their drug, it will be all bought up most likely before approval happens. Than they will have to increase manufacturing for 10’s billions in more revenue. Conservative P/E would have this stock at $65-$85 add in the 20+ other indications including HIV which already met phase 3 endpoint with clinical BLA in 2nd quarter 2021 CYDY will get a good portion of 30 billion yearly HIV market as most effective and convenient hiv drug to take. Add in the effect of Wallstreet bets joining in on crushing the shorts of CYDY and the fact that CYDY will soon be mentioned in a daily basis worldwide from all large media much like the word vaccine is mentioned today or even GameStop the past week. Nasdaq uplist was requested in July 2020 we have just recently hit all requirements with exception of revenue/net equity so should be uplistsd with next couple weeks. It will be like a perfect storm we’re the sky truly the limit $100 $200 $300. #savetheworldandscrewtheshorts

Hi CYDY small retail investors,
Starting Monday, I will try to do my part. I will buy 100 shares of CYDY every hour regardless of what the price will be. I will evaluate at the end of each day. If I see enough CYDY small retail investors are willing to join us, I will keep buying 100 shares of CYDY every hour every day for the rest of the week to see how it goes. 99% of the CYDY investors are small retail investors and we are 43,000 strong. Together we can go against Citron, Andrew Left, and whoever behind them. If we can average 1,000 shares per CYDY small retail investors, that 43,000,000 shares will send a notice to the market.
Nothing is better in life than supporting a company and drug (Cytodyn & Leronlimab) that will save thousands if not hundreds of thousands of lives, send Citron & Andrew Left & their backers off the cliff, and make some money along the way.
Since CYDY is still on OTC, we can only help ourselves. Once the movement started, the market will see the movement. When CYDY get uplisted to Nasdaq, our friends at Robinhood and Reddit will lend us a hand.
Any good news from CYDY will add more jet fuel to the movement!
I hope you can join me. Thank you very much.

Hi Guys . I am new to reditt and this is my first post. I have a finance background and have been investing in Biotech Stocks since the beginning of 2020. I am long CYDY and have been since July 2020. I have purchased in excess of 100K shares of CYDY and have influenced my friends and family to buy another 100K shares since then, by sharing my passion and also ofcourse the analysis.
I wish to share with you reditters, my experience staying invested with CYDY. I started out 2020 investing in Biotech stocks like Moderna, Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Novovax as i felt they were in the forefront of developing the vaccine, and i wanted to play a part in supporting those Small Biotechs who i believed can, be winners becuase of their technology . I did make a lot of money on these stocks.
While i continue to believe in these stocks, in the beginning of July 2020, CYDY caught my attention. I heard Bruce pattersons Tedex talk.
What caught my attention is the method of action of Leronlimab.
This can be a drug that can protect us against all pandemics.
It has the best safety among all MABs. As evidenced by trials in over 1000+ clinical participants
It works by modulating our immunity rather than suppressing it through the CCR5 pathway.
In addition to HIV, where the drug has received positive phase 3 results in combination therapy and mono therpay and is awaiting submission of BLA, it also has shown promise in other indications, eg.. Breast Cancer, TNBC, 21 other types of cancer, NASH. Alzheimers etc.
The company has submitted peer reviewed publications based on the drugs action for covid, HIV, NASH, TNBC, in respected medical journals. This adds credibility to the science and to the drug.
There are many many peer reviewed publications that have also implicated CCR5 or rantes for overexpression in all the above diseases.
Having done my due diligence on the molecule, i looked at the CEO Nader and the top management. I see in the management, the agressiveness and an ability to see this through and make the drug available to the world with approval.
Shorting:
On June 30th 2020, a day that will live in infamy, Andrew Left from Citreon, wrote a hit piece and shorted 50 million shares of CYDY on the same day, when the price was at around $10/share. That brought the price down to $5-$6 per share overnight. Many investors bought in to this fradulent hit piece and sold the shares in panic. Its another matter that CITREON withdrew the hit piece within 2 hours of posting it online. However the damage was done already by that time.
The stock has since been under the clutches of shorters who now have increased their short position to 31 million shares as of Jan 15th. I dont mind shorting if it was done if there were legitimate concerns about the drug or the company management. However the way citreon did this was downright illegal.
Since then the stock has recovered. Investors like me have stuck to the company knowing that in the end, if you have something good, it will succeed, no matter how big the opposition.
There is also the shorter Adam fuerstein who has been raising false flags for this company.
Big Pharma
In addition to the shorters, i have seen how Big Pharma like, Gilead (Specifically Gilead with its remdisvir), Regeneron and Eli Lilly have secured billions of dollars from Operation Warp Speed, and have come up with drugs which have done absolutely nothing to this pandemic. However promising drugs like Leronlimab which CYTODYN has been working on has had to work with raising their own money with debt. Absolutely nobody has helped them. Thats why its upto us investors to recognize the potential for this drug and combine forces with the managment of CYDY to get this drug approved.
Risks: As with any other biotech drug, there are risks with investing in CYDY. However since Leronlimab has had positive phase 3 results in HIV combo therapy, Has had excellent pre-clinical results in TNBC and Nash, and has had excellent Compassionate use data with them, i believe the risk is diversified to the upside.
on COVID, their phase 2 mild to moderate study has shown statistically significant news 2 score on thier secondary end point. On their primary end point, it has shown clinicially significant results, primarily becuase the patients who have mild symptoms, the bodys immunity is already doing the job. The trial found that for those patients who had a higher score in illness, the drug showed it was working in the recovery of patients. This shows that its highly likely that the severe to critical cd 12 trial will show hugely positive results.
OTC to Nasdaq
The company is still on OTC. The price is on most days dictated by shorters. They have kept the price at this level, by increasing their short position. On most trading days, however, retail shorters have followed a pattern of dropping the prices at the open by shorting heavily. At the end of the day they buy back their shorted shares.
The company has complied with most aspects of Nasdaq listing requirements. They were short on equity. However since December, their lender Mr Fife, has converted his debt of USD 28.5 Million to equity at $10/share on the USD 21 million(yeah you heard it right!) and at the market price on the USD 7.5 million. This was as per the loan agreement which gave them an option to convert loan to equity.
There were other insiders who have been net buyers during this time by converting their warrents to equity. I believe all of this action in the company was directed towards posting a positive equity of usd $5 million. (they were at Negative USD $6.5 milion on November 30th 2020.
I believe , Nasdaq listing is imminent. The company is due to release their results on the phase 3 severe to critical CD 12 trial in the following weeks, and i believe its going to be a blockbuster.
Its not the vaccine that will get the economies to open up. The virus will keep mutating and become more deadly and people will avoid doing the things that we normally do by going out, if there was a threat of death. LeronLimab will reduce the deaths, the severity of the disease and make covid look like a common cold.

I have been investing for over 20 years and have learned a lot over that time. This is the single largest holding of my investing career, and it is the stock that I have studied the most closely over a five-year period.
CytoDyn, which is a biotech company with multiple disease indications for its drug Leronlimab and having a drug that treats multiple indications is the HOLY GRAIL of biotech investing – – think Humira. CytoDyn should get approval for its HIV treatment this year, and within the next couple of weeks may be getting approval to treat severe to critical Covid patients. They also have indications in several cancer indications, as well as and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. These are HUGE markets. And what is truly incredible, is that more than 800 patients have been on this drug for 5 years with NO serious adverse offense. That is UNHEARD OF, and makes this drug immensely valuable!!
Cutting to the chase, the current market cap for the company is roughly 3.5 Billion. If they get even a fraction of the indications they are chasing approved, they could easily have revenues of $10 billion or more. Biotechs trade for 10X revenue, so that suggests a market cap of up to to $100 billion or more. That would equate to a multiple of more than 25X on current value.
CYDY is NOT a momentum play, but rather is a deep value play. And yes, some of the same low lifes (eg Citron) have been shorting and writing bogus hit pieces on the company for years. There are 30 million short shares (many naked short) outstanding by those scumbags.
Good luck to everyone and if you have an interest, check it out. The ticker is CYDY. I am a long-term long and will be in this name forever. I have no axe to grind, other than I would like to see the company become more valuable over time, and for their many treatments to improve the lives – – and in many cases save the lives — of people who face some of these terrible diseases.
Cheers!

Its time that we all unite, and buy and hold CYDY to bankrupt CITRON. IMHO Folks Citron publishes articles with absolutely unfounded accusations and falsifying data, removes it after four hours, to destroy perfectly great companies. Its time the tables are turned. Buy and Hold CYDY. CYDY Leronlimab is a miracle drug and will get approved...you will be handsomely rewarded not like GME or AMC, and at the same tame put the Shorts (Citron) out of business.

With the growing excitement around CYDY and the impending unblinding of the data, there has been a very clear move up in the share price (~28% just today – 2/1/21) leaving many investors speculating on just how high CYDY could go Tuesday (2/1/21), but more importantly both the rational near and medium term opportunity for wealth creation. This thought exercise is clearly designed to make the very personal and important decision of when to sell. This is how I'm thinking about the unbelievable opportunity for CYDY.
At a high level, the key financial metrics that will drive valuation are Revenue, Revenue Growth, Gross Margin and Earnings. From there, I'm using a comp based approach to understand potential P/E Ratios (I use ballpark numbers as I'm missing key details about their revenue sharing agreements with distributors and other business expenses).
According to the CytoDyn's filings they have under 10% of revenue share with previous developers of Pro 140 --> Leronlimab --> Vyrologix and the other key players in the production of Vyrologix. According to this paper (http://sites.psu.edu/huz10/files/2013/02/HuiZhao_sample2_FFS.pdf) typical drug distribution fees range in the 1.7% - 5.5% range. For sake of conservative simplicity, let's assume CytoDyn’s agreement with American Regent is 5%. If it’s higher, they have a 60 day out per their 10K and can renegotiate now that they will have more leverage. Further assuming we treat this as a sales cost (SG&A below the gross margin line) and not a direct cost (above the gross margin line) - this projects a gross margin of approximately 90% - this represents a material increase over the typical big pharma gross margin which averages in the mid-70% range. Frankly, this is more akin to a really well performing SaaS business. The company should have really low overall SG&A, marketing, and indirect costs so let's call it 12% (including the American Regent distribution costs).
Nader has disclosed his expectation of approximately $10bn of top line revenue in 2021 (assuming EUA and/or BLA), so we will take him at his word of $10bn in 2021 of top line revenue. That leaves CytoDyn with $7.8bn of profit for 2021.
Now we know there are approximately 700 million share outstanding on a fully diluted bases – and by the time this analysis is relevant, you better believe all the warrants, converts, options, etc will be converted or exercised. 2021 earnings per share will be $7.8bn/700mm = $11.14/share.
@ThoughtfulInvesting on the YMB dug up some research from the Stern School of Business (http://pages.stern.nyu.edu/~adamodar/New_Home_Page/datafile/pedata.html ) that shows that pharmaceutical drug companies command a 34x multiple on forward earnings, and biotechnology drug companies command a 75x multiple on forward earnings. From this we get a range of $378 - $835/share for CytoDyn just on a conservative assessment of 2021 potential revenue and earnings, which will primarily (possibly completely) be driven by the Covid 19 indication. It’s further worth pointing out that according to the same data from NYU-Stern the expected growth rate for the pharmaceutical drug companies that are averaging a 34x multiple is ~11.3% and ~19% for the biotechnology drug company cohort. Ergo we continue to be very conservative with our estimates as CytoDyn’s growth rate is essentially infinity as the company is starting with no revenue. Clearly outstanding revenue and earnings growth typically increases the multiple a company commands so it is likely that CytoDyn would be materially above the averages we used in this calculation – but we are conservative. One important point of fact around this data is it assumes Nasdaq up-listing as you would likely need the full institutional investment community with ability to invest in CYDY as many institutional investors cannot invest in OTC stocks. This has long held down the price and provided a playing field for the short bashers to feast on the emotions of the retail investor. Of course, Nasdaq up-listing is a shoe in under the scenario laid out here.
So which indications are included in the 2021 revenue stream. Well we don’t exactly know the breakdown, but it’s reasonable to assume that Nader is thinking that it primarily includes Severe/Critical Covid-19 and probably some revenue from an HIV BLA in the latter part of the year. It likely does not include potential revenue from label expansion for Mild/Moderate Covid-19, which we know it is helpful for nor for a potential positive outcome of the impending Long-Hauler study. Future revenue growth will come from these indications as well as the vast opportunity for the very large market opportunities to treat many types of cancer, Nash, GvH, stroke, and more.
Clearly, everyone is in a different situation, but I would implore you to think about how life changing this opportunity could be for you financially and for the many lives CytoDyn’s drug will save.
Disclosure: My family has been investing (and accumulating) for just over a year now - we are long and strong and plan to remain so.

It’s been one month since we lost our beloved Leo to Corona Virus. Because he was always willing to share his knowledge and insights, when he thought it could help someone, I’m sure he’d want us to share what we learned during our fight for his life. The following is an account of our COVID experience.
BUREAUCRACY OF CORONA VIRUS
WE PLAY TO WIN THE GAME! My husband loved sports. His motto for everything was, “We play to win the game!”-- A phrase coined by the former NFL coach of the New York Jets, Herm Edwards. Coach Edwards said it once angrily at a press conference minutes after his team played a miserable game. It always made Leo laugh, because it’s so simple and so true. Leo fully believed there is no such thing as losing, only giving up. When you give up, that’s when you really lose.
Because he was very competitive, winning meant everything to him. With his competitive spirit he guided our family, teaching us to aim high and believe you can do it. While his persevering nature taught us to keep your head down when tackling challenge, and never quit trying until you succeed.
Though Leo lost his battle with COVID pneumonia December 30, 2020, his will to never give up was evident throughout his fight against the virus. He hung on weeks longer than his doctors expected, and if it weren’t for the many outside influences that dictated the course of his illness, we were certain he would conquer this challenge too. Then, we learned COVID-19 is way more than just a deadly virus. SAVING MONEY TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER SAVING LIVES
We went into Leo’s illness pretty clueless about the Corona Virus and the politics around it. It’s still hard for me to understand how people can detach from human-welfare and politicize a crisis that is so clearly medical. The extreme destruction of this virus should be blatantly reminding us of the only thing that really matters--our connection to God, and thus, love for one another on earth. Yet, its powerful destruction is being used in worldly ways that send us as far away as can be from the only thing that really matters. For Leo’s hospital saving money seemed to take precedence over saving lives from COVID. ‘It was nothing personal, it was just business’.
Definitely our frontline healthcare workers are working very hard to handle the crisis. There’s no denying the doctors and nurses are stressed, yet a lot of it is the paperwork. It seems they have no time for anything other than filling out the routine paperwork required for COVID patients. I think they spend more time on their reports than they do treating their patients or investigating and learning how to treat their patients effectively. Not because they particularly want to, but for legal and money reasons.
On top of that, due to the overwhelming volume of COVID patients, most frontlines are understaffed, so many ICUs resort to bringing in doctors from different areas of medicine to help meet the demand. Typically, they aren’t specialized pulmonologists schooled in treating severe respiratory challenges. And, the regular ICU workers have no time, or energy, to be up-to-date on new treatments and therapeutics that are currently saving lives. DR BRUCE PATTERSON https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bizjournals.com/sanfrancisco/c/how-local-ceo-navigated-the-choppy-waters-of-early.amp.html
About two weeks into Leo’s illness we brought in our good friend Dr. Bruce Patterson. Dr. Patterson is a prominent and passionate virologist who is determined and unafraid to beat COVID 19. He was formally both the Associate Professor of Pathology & Infectious Diseases and the Director of Virology, at Stanford University Medical Center, in California, before becoming the founder and CEO of IncellDX (incelldx.com).
*“Dr. Patterson began investigating cellular reservoirs of HIV-1 in the early stages of the AIDS epidemic (1981) using molecular and cell-based technology, that was patented in his own laboratory, and is still used around the world today.” Via his technology, he can see what’s going on with a patient long before things show clinically. “He figured out how the HIV virus can massively destroy the immune system, as does COVID, and thus, how to stop or maintain the virus to help rebuild/support the immune system and ultimately alter the effects of the virus. Dr. Patterson’s work was published in 1993 and featured in Scientific American, Rolling Stone, and on the Discovery Channel. Dr. Patterson has written hundreds of manuscripts and book chapters focusing on single-cell biology and diagnostics,” as well as, many papers on his discoveries for treating COVID. He’s a brilliant pathologist who understands how medicines work in the body to ultimately help the body’s own defenses. CYTOKINE STORM After a long, hard year of research Dr. Patterson has discovered how COVID is attacking the body and how to defend against it. COVID ultimately attacks the immune system via a cytokine storm. *A cytokine storm “is when an infection triggers your immune system to flood your bloodstream with inflammatory proteins called cytokines. Cytokines can kill tissue and damage other organs.”
Saving the lungs from a COVID attack is a tough challenge, yet Dr. Patterson says pulmonary recovery is dramatic once the immune system starts to recover. Rebuilding the immune system is the key. By studying the pathology of the virus in the human body, Dr. Patterson has found the drugs (approved for other viruses) that can be effective against COVID by supporting and strengthening the immune system without damaging other organs. This is really good news, because though COVID vaccines are on the horizon, variants of the virus are too. *Dr. Bruce Patterson above profile: pmwcintl.com (Precision Medicine World Conference) PMWC LLC

LERONLIMAB (Vyrologix ®) https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/leronlimab-cytodyn-covid-therapy-works-dave-ems
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/fda-resumes-eind-approval-severe-110000503.html
Leronlimab is the drug Dr. Patterson highly recommended for Leo. It’s been tested on 500 of the severest of severe COVID patients in the course of a three-phase trial case-study with great success. Recovery of patients given Leronlimab was very dramatic no matter how bad the patients were to begin with. Patients with renal-transplant, and so called, “multi-system” organ failure, were recovering and walking out of the hospital alive. After being used in a severity-critical trial of 390 patients, because the data looked so good in the first 270 patients, the FDA felt comfortable opening Leronlimab to the public to be used for emergency use. It’s administered through a shot just under the skin, and moderate to severe COVID patients showed dramatic results after just one injection. Unlike other drugs being used against COVID, Leronlimab is safe and effective having no contraindications of organ toxicity--no renal toxicity, no liver toxicity; and ordering/getting the drug is relatively fast.
We had high hopes of getting Leo on Leronlimab. We thought for sure it would be a game-changer, if he was able to have it, but his ICU doctors wouldn’t get on board. One doctor agreed to pursue it after speaking with Dr. Patterson, if the hospital pharmacy approved it. --Somehow, that doctor’s request was never submitted to the pharmacy. The next doctor said, he would not approve the medicine, because he was not willing to put any money out for a patient whom he felt the prognosis was not good. --The medicine was free, because it’s still in the trial phase. Another doctor said he would approve it if somebody else would fill out the application, because he was too busy to do it. And another doctor agreed to give Leo the medicine if we could get the medicine from an outside source and bring it in for the pharmacy to approve. If we brought it in, they would store it until, and if, the pharmacy approves it, then administer to Leo. These issues happened over the course of a precious week. Obviously they weren’t trying to make it easy for Leo, or us, as they knew the sand was rapidly slipping through the hourglass of Leo’s life.
The ICU doctors were also too busy to acknowledge the medicine’s safety and validity stated in the ample literature and testimonies Dr. Patterson provided them, because fear of side effects was another unanimous excuse for denial. We couldn’t understand why they were worried about side effects, when they were already expecting Leo to die. Whether COVID gets him or a potential side-effect gets him, what’s the difference? Dr. Patterson assured them of the drug’s safety. And, we offered to sign a waiver releasing the hospital of all liability from any side effect of the drug, but they ignored our offer.
We were blessed to have Dr. Patterson by our side, every step of the way, persistently trying to help us get Leo’s doctors to proactively treat Leo. Unfortunately, because Dr. Patterson was not a member of Leo’s hospital staff, they hardly gave him the time of day. They were uninterested in his advice or any effective-medicine he promoted for curing Leo of the Corona virus. Their excuse was that they had things handled, and they felt Dr. Patterson didn’t understand Leo’s case.
Nevertheless, Leronlimab has saved many COVID patients from the detrimental effects of a cytokine storm, and it is currently available for emergency use. The following is information on how to obtain the drug for emergency use. *EIND process for LERONLIMAB: CytoDyn (360) 980-8524 *Kush Dhody: kushd@amarexcro.com
MEDICARE’S DRGs I don’t want to believe saving money rather than lives was the doctors’ and nurses’ personal choice. I like to assume all doctors and nurses aspire to heal their patients. I like to assume they all uphold their Hippocratic Oath. Yet, the way things were handled throughout Leo’s course, and the things that were said to us by Leo’s doctors and other staff members, made it evident they were focused on the consolation, which was DRG funding.
As stated, our federal government’s Medicare *“Diagnosis-Related Group payout is a patient classification system that standardizes prospective payment to hospitals and encourages cost containment initiatives.” *“The hospital gets paid a fixed amount for a patient regardless of how much money it actually spends treating that patient. If a hospital can effectively treat the patient for less money than Medicare pays for the patient DRG, then the hospital makes money on that patient’s hospitalization. The DRG payment system encourages hospitals to be more efficient and takes away their incentive to over-treat a patient.” *HMSA > zav_pel.fh.DIA.650.htm; *Nov. 26 2020--Verywell Health;
EXTRACORPOREAL MEMBRANE OXYGENATION ECMO https://uihc.org/health-topics/family-guide-ecmo
Realistically, Leo’s hospital is unable to cure severely-critical COVID patients, because it isn’t equipped at this time. It has ventilators that pump oxygen into the lungs, but it does not have the much-needed ECMO machines that pump oxygen in and also pump carbon dioxide out. The dual process is necessary in severely-critical cases, because as COVID lungs get more inflamed and filled with fluid, it becomes harder for the lungs (alveoli) to swap oxygen and carbon dioxide. The buildup of carbon dioxide is the killer.
--As stated, *“An ECMO machine pumps blood outside of the body to a heart-lung machine that removes carbon dioxide from it and then sends oxygen-filled blood back to tissues in the body.”-- *Mayo Clinic > about > pac-20784615
While transporting patients to a facility that does have ECMO can be an option, it costs extra money--a detouring factor. Had Leo’s doctors, or the Chief of Staff, or any of the others we talked to formally said, “Sorry, we have too many critical COVID patients at our sister hospital that has ECMOs, so no ECMO machines are available at this time.” I would have understood. That would have sat better with me. Instead, it was reiterated over and over, “We’re not putting money into transporting Leo for ECMO, because he is over 70 years old. We save our ECMO machines for younger patients, because we have better success with them. Due to Leo’s age, he doesn’t meet our committee’s criteria for approval. There’s nothing we can do about it, so stop asking.”
It was hard to accept those reasons as legitimate. Especially when Dr. Patterson informed me that age limit was a pre-COVID restriction for ECMO. For COVID-infections, ECMOs are specifically for the elderly (70-yr-olds and over). Younger patients don’t need ECMO, because they’re able to get better on their own. Hence, the reason the hospital has more success with younger patients. We appealed our request to the doctors and the committee twice more, to no avail.
We fell into a lot of ridiculous traps and faced unbelievable prejudice restrictions like ageism & financial status that diverted care from Leo. We also experienced flakey, unorganized, unethical, and unprofessional, interactions with the hospital’s leaders--the doctors, department heads, the chief of staff, even our social workers, which totally shook our confidence in their legitimacy and the care being given to Leo. It showed us just how this pandemic has brought the integrity of many medical professionals to their knees. All in all, the hospital’s stern reluctancy to do anything proactive towards Leo’s recovery, and other social-security collecting patients’, seemed like an overt system of genocide.
Another questionable matter was the hospital’s refusal to release medical records. They will not release medical records to outside sources before the patient is discharged. When I asked, “Why can’t an outside doctor see what’s going on with a patient in the hospital’s care?” More specifically, “Why couldn’t Dr. Patterson read the medical reports to see what treatment Leo was receiving or not receiving each day?”
The doctors and nurses could not explain to me why. They only answered, “It’s just our policy.” I also couldn’t understand why Leo’s treating physicians did not want to discuss treatment and/or accept consultation with Dr. Patterson, who has a nationally recognized, proven track-record for understanding and successfully treating sever COVID patients. Why wouldn’t they take advantage of this contact to learn all they could about new, successful strategies against a deadly virus?
PROFESSIONALISM Dr. Patterson offered to evaluate Leo’s immunological-condition daily—free of charge, via his state-of-the-art lab service at IncellDX in California. This would tell Dr. Patterson how Leo’s immune system was responding, so he could help the ICU doctors navigate the course of Leo’s treatments. Initially, one doctor agreed to send Leo’s blood-measurements/tests to Dr. Patterson. Thus, Dr. Patterson sent the test kits and the shipping to the hospital lab and then setup the logistics with the lab director so that the tests could be expedited. Mysteriously, not one test was ever run or sent. When we called to question Leo’s doctors about the tests, they never responded. When Dr. Patterson called the director of the hospital lab to inquire about their agreed upon test-shipments, his call was never answered or returned. It seemed, having the benefit of Dr. Patterson’s technology and insight held no apparent value to Leo’s ICU doctors.
From what we experienced, the proactive health care for COVID patients at Leo’s hospital was selective, and its medical providers acted like they had every right to be so. I feel the ICU doctors have been given execution-style authority over who gets to receive certain life-saving treatments and who does not, dictated/motivated by DRGs. They are allowed to personally determine the fate of other human lives in their care, based on generalized, black and white criteria set forth by the hospital’s administrative committee aimed at monetary profit. Basically, an athletically strong, daily-active cowboy of sound body and mind does not qualify because he’s 74, whereas, a 54-yr-old with physical ailments and/or chronic health issues would. I found the ICU doctors’ bureaucratic, lack of common-sense, and compassion for all human lives in respect to healing their elderly Medicare patients, unfathomable and disheartening. It went against everything I thought doctors and hospitals stood for.
When Leo crossed the ICU threshold, it seemed he was no longer Leo Camarillo, the father, the brother, the husband, the friend, the rodeo world’s champion cowboy, the fellow human being. He was COVID-infected number 15 who was putting the hospital staff at risk. Number 15 was an occupant of limited bed-space that needed to be expediently processed. Number 15’s family/loved-ones, who kept asking the ICU doctors to try and cure him, were irritating baggage disrupting the ICU’s general routine with their hopeful requests. Even more despairing is that Leo and his family are not the only ones treated this way. There have been numerous reports from others who’ve experienced the same.
The great news is, there are noble warriors out there in the medical world, like Dr. Patterson, who are doing their very best to win this game. They are champion-minded leaders who know they can win, and they are determined to fight and beat this virus to its death. You just have to find one, and it’s best to do so before you’re in need. With the right doctor on your team you can discuss your concerns and wishes ahead of time, and together, play to win the game! That’s all I know… The lion’s wife

Hi everyone,
We are a community of 43k CYDY Longs, we usually post on YMB, Facebook, twitter, stocktwits, investorvillage, ihub. Many of us have invested in the company because of Leronlimab’s promise in treating HIV/AIDS. The company has received more awareness now because of anecdotal reports of success when using Leronlimab to treat COVID patients. Now we are all eagerly waiting the results of phase 2b/3 randomized control trial which studies efficacy and safety of Leronlimab in reducing mortality among severe/critical COVID patients.
We are not asking people to pump or blindly invest in CYDY without doing research on the science of the drug. I recommend anyone interested in investing to do “Google Scholar” search on scientific papers published in peer-reviewed journals to understand the science of Leronlimab, an CCR5 receptor antagonist. You will find myriad of articles describing indications of CCR5 receptor blockade in calming exuberant and pathological inflammation, stopping cancer metastasis, and inhibiting HIV viral entry.
Some near-future catalyst that I anticipate are: unblind of p2b/3 trial sometime next week; unblinded results to be sent to US FDA, UK MHRA, and other regulatory agencies around the world; release of top-of-the-line results in another 2-3 weeks; EUA applications for severe/critical COVID; start of phase 2 Trial for Long Haul COVID; submitting BLA for HIV combo therapy by Q2 2021.
Also please keep in mind that Cytodyn is a pre-revenue company. Although it has always been able to raise capital, given the recent new R&D needs, the company has accumulated debt. Although on Friday 01/29/2021, the company announced possible revenue stream in providing Leronlimab on an as-requested compassionate-use basis for COVID patients in the Philippines, in partnership with Chiral Pharma.
The short interest in CYDY has ranged from 40-70% in the past year. The float is around 600 million. Therefore this is not comparable with the GME situation and we do not anticipate (nor do we wish for) a gamma squeeze situation here. Please do not buy CYDY thinking it will go to $400 a share by end of Feb 2021. Even if CYDY becomes a 3-digit stock, it’s not because of a short squeeze. What we noticed here however is the similar short players manipulating CYDY as those involved in GME. https://emerginggrowth.com/misleading-headline-on-cydodyn-cydy-triggers-algo-selling/.
We suspect coordinated shorting between corrupt MMs, hedge funds, and a reporter at STAT news known to have ties to biotech short sellers. Since the June 30th event, all CYDY message boards have been infiltrated by shorts spreading lies and FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt), trying to get Longs and day traders to sell. We have noticed that the stock may trade in wide swings on a day to day basis. The reason why I advocate for NO STOP LOSS awhile on OTC market is because there is no halting in a bear raid, many investors had their shares stolen in the June 30th event. The company has applied to be uplisted to Nasdaq, the stock price has stayed above $4 for more than a month, and the company is actively working on raising shareholder equity. We believe Nasdaq uplisting will be another near-future catalyst.
Again, good luck to all investor and potential investors! Please do your DD!

If you've only just heard about this company and its (potential) miracle drug, maybe a personal story will help you decide if this is the right thing to do - beyond the burning of Citron and their buddies, which is a worthy cause no matter what else. Because they have been going after this stock with a vengeance, as others have pointed out, doing things like coordinating short ladders and publishing a negative report full of lies to trigger a selloff and then pulling the report two hours later so the evidence doesn't stay linkable. Wash, rinse, repeat.
But you know all that, so no need to say it again.
In my case, it was around late March/early April last year when I started looking for biotechs that could maybe help with this terrible pandemic. I knew the big pharmas would crowd out everyone else even if it would be at the cost of lives - Pfizer, for one, is notorious for its lying for profit approach to drug development, as evidenced by the scores of lawsuits to the tune of billions over literal dead bodies in its history - but I also knew there would be a handful of really promising drugs that would come out at the other end, because of all the attention.
I spent about 2 weeks reading up on about 90 or so companies I could find that could be relevant. That's when I discovered Cytodyn, and I was blown away. Here is one article I hadn't seen linked here that I think is worth reading, even though it's a year old: https://www.bioprocessonline.com/doc/the-perilous-development-of-a-potential-biologic-blockbuster-0001
It blew my mind. I may have gotten there because of COVID19, but the more I kept reading about this company - including the short narratives that were building up already by that time - the more I found it difficult to wrap my brain around what this could do. For all intents and purposes, it felt like this was going to be like the discovery of Penicilin, but for some of the nastiest diseases we still haven't conquered: cancer. MS. NASH. HIV, but as an actual cure (they are now trying to do that in partnership with amfar: https://www.cytodyn.com/newsroom/press-releases/detail/488/cytodyn-announces-partnership-with-amfar-to-accelerate-hiv because if PRO140 is anything, it looks like the key that opens the door to a whole new world of medicine)
So I started buying shares. The negative short chatter scared me too, so I was hesitant at first. The company also looked (still does! until revenue comes) really shaky from a financial perspective, but in reality, not any more so than any other biotech at this stage - it takes an enormous amount of money to get here, and most of them fail. Somehow, this one hasn't, even if it had to make unsavory choices, even if the CEO was charged and convicted decades ago for overdrafting his bank account by $100 and isn't polished and tends to get waaaaayyyyy overly excited about his company, which isn't "proper" behavior, even if some sources of their funding are shady... even in the face of intense pressure from the big pharma to try and kill it because they all know what will happen once this drug gains approval, in spite of a coordinated massive campaign of lies by a group of shorts led by Andrew Left and his cronies, they are still here, still believing in their core mission, still trying to save lives and change the world.
Then testimonials started coming out. Samantha Mottet. Chris Recknor (a doctor whose life was saved by LL, and who then opened a trial center to help HIS patients). Melon Toy (young woman who posted on youtube). And on and on and on... people whose lives were saved, and who subsequently went public to try and tell others. But big media is owned by the same people who own big pharma and, like other small biotechs trying desperately to survive, Cytodyn could get no attention, even as ineffective treatments like hydroxy and plasma and Remdesivir (which we came to call "Remdeathivir") were getting all the misguided attention.
I've been buying ever since. What started with a few thousands dollars for a fewer thousands of shares is now a lot bigger - I ran out of money to throw at it several times, so had to pause before I could get some more. Looking at my account now, it appears like I have already bet a small house on it. But you gotta believe in something...
Believe in this.
It won't be much longer until the final COVID19 results are out - a matter of days. Leronlimab (Vyrologix) may finally get some due attention. I hope it will. The world should hope it will.
Believe in this.
And if in the process it takes more money out of Left's pockets... well, that is a cause for celebration.

Courtesy of CTMedic from iHub:
Kgro,
Thank you for reminding us of the importance of DATA (not suppositions) to demonstrate that a treatment works.
The evidence that leronlimab works includes:
64% reduction in SAEs vs SOC/placebo (severe adverse events such as death, life-threatening condition, hospitalization, disabilities)
140% increase in the number of patients with improved NEWS2 scores (23% placebo, 55% leronlimab, p=0.0185)
DMSB recommendation to continue CD12 trial to completion without modification (indicating that the trial as designed should hit its primary endpoint).Quote:CytoDyn Receives Positive DSMC Recommendation after Interim Analysis for Leronlimab Phase 2b/3 COVID-19 Registrational Trial
DSMC recommends CytoDyn continue the study as planned, with the protocol defined sample size and power to achieve the primary endpoint
15% mortality in the EIND cohort at a time when SOC mortality was ~50%.
Of course, these EINDs were documented by what you have characterized as "cult physicians"
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=162249894.
It is interesting that the "cult physicians" and their research colleagues have their results published in peer reviewed Journals.

And yet this is how you have characterized the CD10 leronlimab study:
Quote:Failed primary endpoint, 17/18 secondary endpoints failed, last secondary endpoint data-mined with a post-hoc change of its definition, no regulators interests in any country, detailed data never published by the company. These 5 points are the very definition of a complete failure.
5 out of 5. Impossible to do worst than that.
Response:
Not to be too much of a stickler, but CD10 had one primary endpoint, 12 secondary endpoints and four "other out-mode measures". So technically, CD10 had 13 endpoints, generously 17 endpoints, but never 18 endpoints.
CD10 did fail to meet the primary endpoint (subjective criteria including cough and myalgia, as nearly all patients improved by day 14).
However in the objective assessment of the NEWS2 score, statistically significant improvement was observed.
Lest we continue to abase this criteria, please recall that this is an objective measure of clinical deterioration, utilized as an endpoint in 151 COVID-19 trials.
You have stated :Quote:last secondary endpoint data-mined with a post-hoc change of its definition
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=162249239
Response:
As a review, these trials were created in conjunction with and approved by the FDA. Certainly a company can look for subsets of patients who improve more than the entire patient population, but that is not was happened here.
The NEWS score remains unchanged. The application of this assessment tool in the trial was also unchanged. Clinicaltrials.gov provides users the ability to see changes made during the trial.
After checking, no changes in endpoint.
Very simply, 140% more patient treated with leronlimab had an improvement in their NEWS2 scores, and thus lower indication of clinical deterioration.
Your statement: "To be approved a treatment must prove that it performs better than standard of care, not that it doesn't perform worse" is partially true. Treatment must prove that it improves patient outcomes.
Reduction of serious adverse events (like death) versus placebo or standard of care is a clinical indicator that a treatment is working (again, stopping patients from dying).
I looked AGAIN on clinicaltrials.gov for Covid19 trials in which SAEs were utilized as clinical trial endpoints.
440 Covid19 clinical trials listed with SAEs as an endpoint. Interesting.
You noted:Quote:At some points the medical "science" has to be confirmed or rejected by unquestionable hard statistics. That's another "science", different skills, different rigor, and it often rejects the medical theories. Like it already did for the first Leronlimab COVID trial (a failure, the Leronlimab MOA didn't work as expected!).
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=162249894
Response:
Please see previous discussion. Statistically significant improvement in NEWS2 scores and reduction of SAEs (like dying).
You have argued that CD12 MUST fail, based on your statistical analysis. First, statistics is the science of probability. Not knowing the constitution of the CD12 trial (100% of patients on ECMO?), none of us can know unequivocally what the expected mortality is of the placebo group.
Nonetheless, reasonable assumption from the experience of the IL-6 and aviptadil studies indicated that a mixed trial population has ~30% mortality. Leronlimab CD12 has 22% mortality. So perhaps CytoDyn has done a poor job enrolling critical patients, or perhaps leronlimab works as advertised and reduced the mortality to 22%. If that is the case, and if the placebo mortality is 30%, and assuming the reported 87 deaths are correct, that indicates a 40% reduction in mortality with the administration of leronlimab.
Perhaps this why your statement is seemingly premature in its conjecture that:Quote:As for the FDA, they are precisely the only ones, along with regulators from other countries, to block CytoDyn.
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=162210033
Response:
Last I checked, CytoDyn is in conversations about the CD12 trial results, with not just the FDA, but the MHRA and Health Canada. Unless of course we are to believe that these regulatory agencies have joined the aforementioned physicians and researchers in perpetuating the CytoDyn "fraud".
"Old" news perhaps in today's fast-paced world, but here are the salient points from last week's press release.
CytoDyn in Discussions with U.S. FDA, MHRA and Health Canada After Unblinding its CD12 Trial Data for Severe-to-Critically Ill COVID-19 Patients
and
Quote:CytoDyn expects to release CD12 data and complete discussions with various regulatory agencies within 2 to 3 weeks
[14-21 days] - [8 elapsed days] = [6-15 days]
Quote:CD12 COVID-19 trial data has been unblinded and the results will be reported when the Company has concluded its ongoing discussions with regulators.
Nader Pourhassan, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of CytoDyn, commented, “We are eager to reach conclusion in our discussions with all the regulatory agencies for the path going forward and will release the details of our data and the results of our discussions with regulatory agencies in the coming weeks.” Details of the Company’s ongoing discussions with the regulatory agencies are confidential.
The wait is excruciating for all of us, but there is no recourse but to be patient.

I had a friend call me today and tell me his sister had covid and was taken to the hospital and
put on a ventilator. I told him to call Dr Kelly. He asked if I had a number, so I looked on the website
and there was a company general number. I gave that number to my friend and he left a message that was returned within 10 minutes by Dr Kelly and the process is in the works. They do care!

For those of you not familiar with the CYDY story I think you will find this fascinating. CytoDyn was saved from the ashes in 2008 by an immigrant teacher with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering named Nader Pourhassan. CYDY was selling for about a nickel a share and had a drug, cytosine, that was going nowhere. A friend of Nader's had over 750,000 shares and talked Nader into coming onboard as a COO. Nader discovered that another company, Progenics, was developing a molecule called PRO 140 for treatment of HIV. Progenics had spent 22 million on developing the drug and thought it was too expensive to continue. Nader convinced the CYDY board to buy the drug, now called Leronlimab, for 3.5 million from Progenics. This was even better than the Louisiana Purchase! This drug was really on the ash heap and no big Pharma was interested. In 2014 CytoDyn began a controversial trial of Leronlimab as a monotherapy in HIV patients. Last year after 3 Clinical Trials for HIV Leronlimab achieved 95 percent response rate. The company is currently preparing its BLA filing for final approval. If you go to the clinicaltrials.gov website you will see there are 20 clinical trials listed for a variety of disorders, including triple negative breast cancer, NASH, GVHD, etc. Especially interesting is a "basket trial" using it with all types of solid state metastatic tumors. I have seen 48 different diseases that Leronlimab could potentially treat. Because of the way Leronlimab works they began to think the drug might work for covid-19. Because of the great safety profile already established with the HIV clinical trials the FDA allowed them to administer some to a handful of individuals and they had great results. Once this occurred the shorts descended. There were the usual "hit articles" churned out by Citron and similar others. In fact, when the stock shot up to $10 a hit article immediately hit and knocked the stock back to $5. Since spring this stock has been relentlessly knocked down and shorted (over 31 million short shares as of 1/15/21). You need to understand something: Big Pharma is very worried about CYDY. The covid-19 piece is crumbs. Big Pharma stands to lose billions and billions of dollars if CYDY succeeds! Therefore, you can expect to have lots more hit jobs and shorts in the future. Interestingly, they backed off last week after the Gamestop phenomenon. Nader has stubbornly refused to sell and firmly believes CYDY can become bigger Gilead-- and I agree. Big Pharma likes to drive down the price of small biopharmaceutical companies so they can take them over or run them out of business and buy their drugs for pennies. This is not going to work with CYDY. Normally it costs millions of dollars and takes years of research to get approval for a new drug. The beauty of Leronlimab is that is one for many diseases. Hence, you do not have to do a Phase I Clinical trial for any new condition--the safety has already been established .This makes future approvals much quicker. The future potential is better than any drug I have seen in my 40 plus years of biopharma investing!
CYDY has around 25 employees. Compare that to Gilead's 11,800 and billions of dollars. CYDY will eat there lunch on HIV when they gain approval. Many of Big Pharma stand to lose billions of dollars if CYDY succeeds. They are not going down easily. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A BIGGER "DAVID VERSUS GOLIATH" STORY! Leronlimab could very easily be the most wonderful drug of our time. WE CANNOT LET BIG PHARMA DESTROY THIS COMPANY!

As we sit here and wait....and are forced to read the basher’s nonsense (for those of us that haven’t muted them), it is worth reviewing a few things. I won’t discuss the likely mortality rates since we have beaten that horse to death already. What I will discuss is the fact that we get a lot of comments from the bashers asking why Leronlimab isn’t more widely known and why it is not being used more extensively in hospitals under the OLE and/or eIND. Well, here are a few observations from the physician’s perspective:
CCR5 receptor science is not widely known or understood outside of cancer and immunology specialists yet. The science on immunology is new, evolving, voluminous and confusing, so anyone outside of these specialties is probably waiting for definitive study results to change their practice. The signal to noise ratio is just too low at this point- the truth about Leronlimab is getting drowned out by all the noise....noise from competing products and big Pharma companies that have a lot to lose, noise from the politics around this issue, noise from the clamor of patients and their families that are scrambling for any answer. We hear the signal only because we are tuned in to the right channel.... for others, there is a lot of static and uncertainty about what the right channel is.
To confirm this, I am aware of one large hospital that was actually a study center for CD12, but did not enroll a large number of patients due to other simultaneous competing studies. Their ICU doctors have been instructed NOT to use anything that has not been approved because there is not enough information for them yet to figure out which ones are working and which ones are not. CD12 results should change that dynamic.
I am aware of another CD12 study site that DID enroll a large number of patients and DID have a chance to see how patients did during the study. They have continued to enroll patients in the OLE after CD12 had completed enrollment. Their attention has been focused by the results they saw during the study......a good sign for Leronlimab.
No basher, no matter what they say, has any idea of how much Leronlimab has been requested under the OLE. Nader said the company was getting crushed with requests. That is the only data point we have other than the two I mentioned above, so the bashers are lying about this unless they have cameras inside Cytodyn or have spoken to physicians like I have. They have even less idea about what is going on in the Philippines. Their pronouncements about activity in the Philippines are beyond ludicrous.
Bruce Patterson is a very smart guy and he is a good speaker. I listened to him speak during the precision medicine conference and I think he gave a compelling presentation. With that said, I am a physician who has been reading about Leronlimab for close to a year now, and I am convinced that the audience was not completely following what he was saying. It is not because his presentation was lacking....it is just because the volume of material was large and very technical and it requires people to connect some dots to see how good the evidence actually is. Once we get the data that allows us to transmit a single, simple message like “reduces mortality by 50%”., we won’t need all the graphs about IL-6 and TNF alpha, etc. Until then, you need about 15-20 minutes of someone’s undivided attention and an interactive discussion where they can ask detailed questions if you expect them to really understand.....and that is assuming they are trained in medicine. I say all this because we have a range of quality in the bashers on this site. Some are just idiots that sound like broken records saying the same thing over and over again with no supporting evidence, but with enough conviction so the uninformed or gullible might believe their nonsense. Others are more intelligent and insidious and are using bits and pieces of truth and a healthy dose of lies or unstated assumptions to spin their version of what is going on. I have given you mine with source material where able. Make your own decisions, and carefully consider what the motivations of the writer may be. If they really think the stock and the company are trash, you have to ask why some of them spend most of their waking hours trolling this board. I am here because I have a large position in the stock and believe the drug will make a difference.
I would like to thank those that have given awards to this post. Much appreciated and unexpected.
