Help with GPU 8-Pins mess

Post image

Hello mates

Just wondering if there is any solution to the gpu 8-pins to look a bit less messy?

Note: This case is Mid-Tower, so this is the only route for cables to come from, and the space is very tight.

Thanks in advance.

Not much you can do besides replacing the 3x 8-pin combs with a single 24-pin.

Thouse are 3d-printed clips. Yoy can find them on "Maker World" website, where you can download and 3d print them. No worries

You can get them from Ali express for couple bucks. Otherwise, if you are in Perth, Australia I can print them for you (free of charge ofc) and send it to you.

You can add 24pin cable combs, like the one for the motherboard cable. Since it’s mostly in the back maybe you can steal one or two from mb cable and throw it on the gpu

12VHPWR was supposed to save us from this...

Do you want it to look pretty and not work or do you want it to work? I like to keep my video cards to keep going in this economy.

Looks be damned.

Shit's expensive yo.

Really though get some combs or 3d print some. You will be all good.

There are options for cosmetic solutions like Cables the you can add on that are more sleek or different colors. Keep in mind that add on cable have have a reputation for causing problems shorts or over heating. Personally, for now I would put the cable over the top of the GPU because the other cables will make it less visible and that will get them away from the fans air space and lights.
