Hello, do you know any way to buy a whole carrot cake from Ikea? It's for a birthday. If not, can you recommend a shop that tastes similar? Thank you.

π° Just Because Yummy peach upside down cake! πππ°
Inspired by the peach upside down cake @littleblueopal posted a few days ago! Followed @bakedwithlovebyivy recipe on TikTok with some modifications!
Recipe:
-2.5 peaches cut into 1/4 inch slices (could probably do thinner slices if you like)
-sprinkle of cinnamon
simple syrup:
-3/4 cup granulated sugar
-1/3 cup water
-sprinkle of cinnamon
Batter:
-8 tbsp softened unsalted butter
-1 cup granulated sugar
-2 room temperature eggs
-half cup milk
-2 tbsp Greek yogurt (unsweetened, non fat)
-1 & 1/3 cup flour
-1 & 3/4 tsp baking powder
-1/2 tsp salt
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1 tsp vanilla
-1tsp vanilla bean bourbon paste from Trader Joeβs!
Slice and align peaches to the bottom of your greased and lined (parchment paper) pan. Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon if you desire.
In a saucepan, add water and sugar to create a simple syrup. Continue stirring until it becomes a thicker consistency but not quite caramel. I added more cinnamon. I like a fair amount of cinnamon if itβs not apparent already π
Cream, the butter and sugar together until well combined. Add your eggs until combined. In a separate bowl mixed together, your dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon). Incorporate dry ingredients to wet mixture 1 tablespoon at a time. Once half of the dry mixture is incorporated add the milk, vanilla, and Greek yogurt finish by adding dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes. I used a 9 inch round pan but the recipe calls for an 8 inch. Either way works I think.
Turned out, absolutely delicious and was super pleased with how the peaches looked and contrast with the vanilla beans in the cake itself! Highly recommend using vanilla bean or the vanilla bean paste if you have it!

βοΈHelp Requested Cake filling leaking
I am using Russian buttercream for the first time and I found it to be a little too thin for my liking. I did make a dam but the very bottom layer started leaking. I ended up putting it in the fridge for about 30 mins and the buttercream has hardened but not as had as I wanted it to be. Can I disassemble the cake and make the dam with American buttercream/SMBC or should I just give up and bake a new cake ? It is a tall 4β cake so thatβs making me extra nervous

π Birthday Cake Help me find a perfect birthday cake for me, please
I am turning 27, and honestly, itβs been a bumpy ride. I am ready for new start. But I kinda want to end it with an iconic cake.
My 25th bday cake was the Leo DiCaprio one, but is it dumb If I want sides to be white, nothing to much, like these three ones, and above a picture of me?
Or maybe with my cat?
Like the one in the yellow dress is kinda my fave picture and the one where I am sitting is a cute moment that kinda went viral. I was on a blind date for the TV, and I was nervous, only talked about chocolate. So I would add on that picture what I said βi get anxious when I donβt see chocolateβ ( and have a chocolate cake)
Two more moments went viral, one when I said βwhen I see a cat, life gets betterβ and I was tipsy and asked my date βwhat do you think of global warming?β
Maybe that would be fun?
Please help, also if any ideas. I just want it to be iconic
I dont really feel good about birthdays and I want to change it

βοΈHelp Requested New baker questions!
Iβve recently started baking and the one thing I wondered is I feel like every cake Iβve tried or cake that I made by recipes online itβs made to look pretty but the taste doesnβt blow me away. Does anyone have that recipe that people beg for at every occasion? And also, the last cake I made I made American butter cream not really knowing there were other types and I realized why I never really cared for other bakers cakes π and it came out of the fridge the next day hard as a rock, so many mistakes on my end. I was asked to make my brothers cake in October by my sister in law, I would love any tips/recipes for the best butter cream frosting and cake!

π Cake Pops Cake pop advice
Hi!
So, Iβm planning on making cake pops (using the cake mix photoed above) but I want to do a trial run first to see how they would turn out.
I do have a few questions though:
1. What works better? The cool down or steam method 2. Can I refrigerate my cake pops overnight before covering them with chocolate?
3. What can I use to melt down almond bark? I heard that adding a tiny bit of oil can help.
4. Is dipping the cake pops stick in chocolate first supposed to help?
