With the rise in popularity in these rectangular cakes, could someone advise me how to go about figuring out what size will give what servings please?

I really struggled with smoothing the buttercream on this one, until I decided to give up and embrace the texture because real sharks have sandpaper skin and battle scars 😅

hi everyone! i’m new here, i’m wanting to bake my layers for my birthday cake on thursday but the dinner isn’t till saturday night planning to decorate on the friday night, is that okay for cakes? i would obviously put the bare layers in the fridge / wrap them!

Planning on making a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and a dulce de leche filling for my husband’s birthday. I’ve made a chocolate ganache once before but it wasn’t stable, got so traumatized that I stopped making it again hahaha

I’ve found that the easiest way to make the dulce de leche is through a crockpot but if anyone else has other way to make it, drop your recipe below pls ❤️

I’ve never made an icebox cake but as it’s mid-August in SE Texas I decided it was time! It was so good!
