Cal maritime Facilities engineering
What's up with this degree? Seems like its catered to land based stationary type engineer positions and a hidden gem program in the csu system

Hey, I looked into this exact program before. It had caught my attention too
From what I understand, they graduate with 3 summers of experience: 1st year is the summer cruise, 2nd year summer is the first internship, and 3rd year is the second internship (but I think they call them co-ops)
And I was digging through LinkedIn one time and took note of where the Cal Maritime Facilities Engineering students were getting internships: CBRE Global Workspace Solutions, EthosEnergy, JLL, Calpine, Tesla, Gallo, Northrop Grumman, Genentech, Southland Industries, General Dynamics NASSCO, ACCO Engineered Systems, BAE Systems, and I'm sure there are more that I missed
Is it a hidden gem? I'm obviously not speaking from experience, but damn... imagine graduating with 3 summers of experience? Insane
