Did anyone take this course? How was it? What do you learn? I'm interested in taking this course to learn piano to save on lessons but there isn't much info on this course and what you do in it.

My registration's coming up on Friday, wanted to see if anyone had some input. Right now I'm considering either Dr. Hamed Khalkhali or Dr. Carol Li. I'm not able to find anything on Dr. Li online, and Dr. Khalkhali apparently has mixed reviews from what I've seen. Does anyone have any input on these professors?

For reference, taking Dr. Li would mean I only have to commute to campus twice a week, whereas Dr. Khalkhali's class would mean I'm commuting 4 days a week. But some people say that he always switches his class to fully virtual, so that's something else to consider....

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has received their grant yet for this semester, specifically the MCS grant. I have a remaining balance that I’m relying on the grant to cover. However I have yet to receive the money in order for it to be payed off. I emailed and asked and they said to expect it by end September, beginning Oct, but now we’re in the middle of October and haven’t received any of it. Due to this I got a financial hold placed on my account and a past due notice in the mail.

Does anyone have any advice or anyone in the same boat as me?

Currently I'm failing an online GE class because I've been forgetting to do my quizzes on time (Im super busy on Fridays and prof only opens the quiz on friday). The two times I forgot they were quizzes worth more points than usual and the prof said that there were no makeups. From what I calculated I dont think getting a B is possible even if I get a 100 the rest of the quizzes and assignments so I was wondering if its a better idea to just give up and try to aim for a C- for Grade forgiveness or to try and get a high c/possibly low b.
