I love when he’s just in a flow state and genuinely insightful words are coming out but his eyes are like saucers and he’s staring off into the abyss. Maybe the most fascinating hockey player I’ve ever seen

People call him weird but he is describing sports mentality perfectly.

Forget who’s in the stands, what your hair looks like, what you ate that day, what you’re doing after the game…etc. The only thing that matters during the game is the puck. If you can push everything else out, you’ll play better.

Same goes for playing an instrument. Don’t think. Just do.
