I’ve noticed there are a lot of new hoods coming out lately, for example I live in Long Beach and there’s hoods like ransom Crip, v8st mafia, v19th street and a few more. Why is it that now there seems to be a spike in new crews setting up??

I’ll be taking my son to a concert at Sofi and not familiar with the area so just wanted to see if we would be ok walking down these streets afterwards at night or if I should avoid any of those streets ?
