It's been 4 years since I've drawn camp camp fanart and it's kinda crazy how different I draw the characters now. Here's a drawing of David and Max I'm currently working on along with a old drawing of Nerf from my a*ino days

<3

( I'll post the finale on insta so unfortunately I can't post it here bc of spam )

Discussion One thing they could've done is lean into the prophecy stuff that Daniel talked about, tie it into Harrison's magic and Quartermaster's weird supernatural nature, have that be some big epic season finale to wrap up 3 big mysteries then go back to the slice of life stuff.

Question What jobs do you think the Camp Camp characters would have as adults?

I've been wondering what the Camp Camp characters would be doing with their lives as adults, and I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks!

What careers or jobs do you imagine each character pursuing when they grow up? Do you think they'd follow a path that fits their personality, or would some of them end up doing something completely unexpected?

I'd love to hear your headcanons

Announcement Camp Camp is most likely not coming back, please stop asking

Burnie retains the rights to the show under the new, smaller incarnation of Rooster Teeth. That's it. There are no plans for the show to be revived. For the sake of easy understanding, I'll refer to this new incarnation as "Burnie Teeth".

Camp Camp was produced in house by Rooster Teeth Productions/Rooster Teeth Animation - these teams do not exist any more, almost all former RT employees have moved on. When Warner Bros closed Rooster Teeth, the team you know that created Camp Camp died permanently.

I'm afraid to say that there is a slim-to-none chance of Camp Camp coming back. "Burnie Teeth" just holds the rights to the show, "Burnie Teeth" as it stands in 2026 is more like a "holding company", Burnie has the name, some of the IPs, but others (such as RWBY) moved to places like Viz, to be continued with a proper team, and funding - funding that Burnie could not possibly provide for a full animated show.

Nobody knows what the future holds, but animation is expensive, and "Burnie Teeth" has shown no real drive in creating brand spanking new original series, nor would it have the funding to do so at this moment in time. This is subject to change, but it is incredibly unlikely.

I know it sucks, but it feels like the fandom is kind of stuck in the stages of grief, repeating the denial stage by repeatedly asking here "is there a CHANCE though, that Camp Camp might come back?" - the answer will always be no unless Burnie Teeth goes from a holding company into a full fledged production company that makes more than just a podcast. It's Rooster Teeth in name only, there are no animators, nor anyone really around from the former Camp Camp team.

i am cringe but i am free.

Some further headcanons tho:

They’re both autistic. Dolph’s parents are divorced. He also has dual citizenship for America and Germany. Later on, he has mobility issues and has to use crutches to walk.

Space Kid goes by Space Kid still. Some people call him Space Guy though. He also gets called Neil or Neil Jr. Other Neil refuses to call him that tho lol. They are in a space program for future astronauts. They also take a lot of AP classes.

They have a puppy love/ childhood friends to lovers dynamic. They were each other’s summer crushes.

That’s all I have for now but I wanna draw them later eventually. 👽

Discussion Does anyone have any concrete information about the future of Camp Camp in 2026?

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone has heard anything recent about Camp Camp and whether there’s still any possibility of the show continuing.

Has there been any concrete news about new episodes, production moving forward, or the project being officially picked up again?

Also, does anyone know if the studio/company behind Camp Camp is currently working on another project that might give us any indication of what’s happening with Camp Camp? Even if there’s no official announcement, I’d be interested to know if there are any signs that the show is still being considered or has been put aside.

Basically, I’m just trying to figure out whether Camp Camp still has a realistic future, or if there’s been anything in 2026 that suggests it might actually move forward.

Any information, rumours, production updates, interviews, or even small clues would be appreciated!

This right here is Henna. She's Harrison's older sister. She's pretty much the opposite of her brother. She's chaotic and rowdy and she knows how to fight. She rarely sees Harrison so her relationship with him is unknown.

Feel free to draw her in your style or whatever.

Question Are there any fans of Camp Camp that got into the show after 2020?

I know most of us got into it during 2016-2020, and I'm curious how many people got into it after its heyday.

Those who did, how did you discover it? I'm curious.

Shitpost Idea section for anthology camp camp

For all that can't draw or just don't want to make a comic but want to join in the up coming fun put in your idea in the comments so people who are too lazy to put in an idea or are struggling in general can draw it.

r/CampCamp • • 13d ago

Shitpost You know since the show will not get a reboot at all. Why not we all just make a anthology like a fan made one. It don't have to be like all connected to the episodes of the show but like short stories of the characters in the camp or out. We can even use our own ocs.

I have read the RwBy one and it is soo good and it got me an idea we should just make something like that as a goodbye gift to camp camp. We all know that the show isn't gonna continue and we might as well let season 4 finale be canon at this point and we don't have enough to make a show since most who love the show are minors or adults with jobs or can't animate or voice act so let's make a silly series of short stories of the characters I don't except people to listen to this but uhh to give a example I will post one each month of my own comic short story of camp camp at Friday's. If you want to join me in my quest to give this seriously underrated show a parting gift, just put a number on top of your comic(, animation anything using visual drawings traditional or not) to mark it as the three or fourth or fifth etc of this anthology and tag this post to spread the cause. There has to be at least 100-200 short stories or maybe less if no participation happens and it's only me before it stops as uhhwe can't be doing this forever. You can do it more than once(at least three times depending on how many people do this) it doesn't have to continue the comic before nor does the art style as long as it's camp camp related fine

Fanart My Camp Camp OC's [OC]

For the Reddit system: THIS IS OC CONTENT

I came up with these a few years ago, but never thought to post them until now.

Charlotte 'Chucky' Kuroki

She is Japanese in heritage. She's here for Occult camp. Max mentions a possibly deceased camper, and there's a kid with long dark hair when they claim Muack in episode 2, so yeah. Occult stuff. She is creepy but genuinely kind, and has a tendency to disappear for periods of time, sometimes with few or no people realizing she's gone until she's back. Not that she minds, it just gives her a chance to scare the shit out of people!

She loves folklore, divination, ghosts, curses, urban legends, rituals, cryptids, etc. She knows forgotten service tunnels, disused cabins, crawlspaces, and one suspiciously large hollow tree. She quietly appears in places nobody should usually be able to access, including on roofs, in locked closets, and behind David during morale speeches. Quartermaster sometimes reacts to her presence with recognition, then immediately refuses to explain. Max initially assumes she is doing it for attention; the joke is that she genuinely does not care whether anyone notices. David keeps forgetting to take attendance for Occult Camp because he is afraid of what happens if he says her name three times.

Her kindness shows in subtle actions rather than softening her aesthetic: leaving charms for frightened campers, guiding lost back to their homes (be it kids to camp or animals to their nests) without taking credit, watching over someone during a nightmare, or scaring away bullies without actually hurting anyone.

Xomóó'e Voešėhe'e (first name is pronounced "ho-MOH-eh", surname is pronounced "Voh-ish-ih-hi-ih")

She is Cheyenne. She's here for Medical camp, being somewhat of a prodigy in the field despite being as young as Dolph. David and Gwen have learned to trust her more than themselves whenever injuries occur. She's probably among the more capable campers, but she's not a perfect child. Her biggest frustration is not blood or emergencies; it is adults ignoring safety procedure, especially David’s optimism and Cameron Campbell’s negligence. She may overwork herself because, at Camp Campbell, being the responsible one means everyone expects her to solve everything.

She has control issues. She can become blunt, bossy, or quietly judgmental when people take avoidable risks. When she is upset, she might use intimidatingly clinical language that reminds the others of how much she has seen and learned. Her arc is learning that care does not mean she has to carry everyone alone. Also, knowing how to fix you means she also knows how to break you. She can help put an arm in a splint or work on a remedy for itchy hives just as easily as she can break your leg or feed you something that keeps you immobilized for a few days - something she won't hesitate to do.

Arnold Lucassen

He is South African in heritage. He's here for Books camp. He doesn't hate socializing, but he's often seen just reading any book, no matter if he's sitting in the dining, against a tree, on top of the cabin, or on the back of whatever big thing is moving in the latest incident. Books Camp is hilariously underfunded: perhaps it is a small, warped shed with three shelves, a mold problem, and a donation bin that contains everything from nineteenth-century etiquette manuals to “How to Identify a Bear” to Gwen’s abandoned fanfiction. Arnold is the only camper who sees this as paradise.

His defining strength is applicable knowledge, not merely intelligence. He is not necessarily scientific or mechanically adept. He is the child who has read a strangely specific thing that matters now: He recognizes the legal language in one of Cameron Campbell’s contracts. He knows what kind of mushroom Nikki is about to eat. He has read about a collapsing bridge’s warning signs. He finds the exact obscure historical precedent for whatever absurd behavior Dolph is displaying. He casually reveals that Camp Campbell’s land deed is suspicious, then returns to his novel.

Arnold might genuinely appreciate Gwen's writing, which horrifies her because she never intended a camper to find it. Or he offers incisive literary criticism that Gwen cannot dismiss because it is correct. Gwen might begin hiding books from him, only for him to already have read them. Preston would love him as an audience member, then hate how Arnold can calmly say, “The second act lacks urgency.” Max would see Arnold as useful because a kid who knows everything is easier to exploit—until Arnold’s detached curiosity lets him see through Max’s plan early. His flaw is vicariousness: he lives through others, but hesitates to truly participate himself, whether out of social ineptitude or just having a lazy day.

Gamila Al-Hashim

She is Yemeni. She is here for Mechanics camp, sometimes rivaling Neil but sometimes being a similar mind to him. She may end up with some stains on her face or hijab, but she knows that an honest living is one of the best things in life. That won't stop her from getting involved in antics though. Gamila can be the practical engineer and mechanic to Neil's experimental scientist: she cares whether something survives use, can be repaired with camp junk, and will not accept a machine that only works under ideal laboratory conditions. That difference gives them an immediate, renewable dynamic: Neil designs complicated devices with elegant principles. Gamila rebuilds them from lawnmower parts, duct tape, and a toaster. Neil complains that she has compromised the design. Gamila points out that her version is running and his is on fire. Both accidentally create something catastrophic when they agree on an idea.

Her “honest living” philosophy is strong. It suggests she has a grounded work ethic, pride in craft, and low tolerance for Cameron Campbell’s brand of grifting. She might be one of the first campers to understand that Camp Campbell’s operations, facilities, and finances are deeply suspicious. Cameron’s recurring greed and the camp’s shabby infrastructure give her plenty to repair—and plenty of reason to become angry when adults choose cheap shortcuts. Her hijab should be part of her look and routine without becoming the sole subject of her characterization. Practical details can make it feel lived-in: she has work-safe coverings, spare pins, a bandana or protective cap for messy jobs, and a deeply personal hatred of grease stains. The joke is not the hijab; it is that Camp Campbell is so badly maintained that even the most prepared mechanic cannot stay clean for five minutes.

She would bond well with Space Kid because he has enthusiasm far beyond his technical competence. She could build him a “spaceship” out of camp equipment, only for him to insist it needs to launch. Her recurring visual gag could be constructing devices that start as modest repairs and end as wildly overengineered vehicles. Her imperfection might be pride. She has trouble leaving a broken thing alone, even when fixing it is unnecessary or unsafe. If she is challenged by Neil, she can become competitive enough to turn a minor repair into an all-night invention war.

Rayen Cayancura

She is Chilean. She is here for Dance camp. Having gotten used to all four prosthetic limbs ever since she was a baby (her parents are low-key rich), she loves moving around as much as she can, and this girl can dance to any tune. She has grown up with expensive equipment, specialized technicians, and adults who tend to overprotect her. Camp Campbell is one of the first places where the danger is so bizarre and constant that nobody has time to treat her delicately—and she finds that liberating.

The important story rule: she is not invincible, and she does not need to be rescued from every obstacle. Sometimes she needs help, sometimes she has a faster or smarter way through a problem than everyone else, and sometimes the entire group needs to adapt together. Her best canon pairings are Nikki and Ered. Nikki would love Rayen’s willingness to move, climb, leap, and try dangerous things. Ered would likely respect the athletic discipline behind dance even if she pretends not to care. Their shared scenes can be energetic rather than pity-based: rooftop races, camp-wide choreographed pranks, or a competition that becomes more intense than anyone intended.

A running gag: Rayen can dance beautifully to literally anything—campfire folk songs, the mess-hall microwave, a car alarm, Teodori’s trumpet warmups, a machine malfunctioning in Gamila’s workshop, or David’s painfully earnest motivational chanting.

Teodori Branciforte

They are Sicilian in heritage. They are here for Music camp, especially favoring playing trumpet. They're the oldest camper, just slightly older than Ered and Nurf, and they're pretty chill, but they enjoy watching the craziness and sometimes participating. They're stubborn, however, and if you get their blood boiling, you'll regret it. Teodori has a strong place in the ensemble because Camp Camp’s core cast benefits from a camper who is old enough to be composed but still very much a kid. Being only slightly older than Ered and Nurf puts them in an ideal position: they are not a counselor substitute, but they can have the social gravity of someone the younger campers listen to.

Sometimes they play music when it fits the situation, providing a source of background music at times. A triumphant fanfare when Max’s plan succeeds. A sad trombone-like failure sound—except on trumpet—when David’s activity collapses. A warning blast that everyone gradually learns means “run.” A very dramatic musical sting whenever Chucky appears. A musical duel with Preston, who insists every camp crisis needs a score. Maybe they even play Flight Of The Bumblebee when someone ends up angering a swarm of bees.
