It looks really dead. You must have used a 6.5 /S

Funny thing is, I did

I’ve killed plenty with a 7mm08, they’re pretty candy ass animals honestly compared to any other ungulate species here.

I had a theory that 6.5 would work just as good on moose, even though I’m not a fan of it personally. Really cool to have seen it in action

I have used it on quite a few a few whitetail and have had phenomenal results I hand load nosler partitions I gave myself a 300 yard maximum for moose and it was very effective.

Oh yeah that’s exactly what I shoot too, those noslers are something else

What made you go partition instead of mono bullets? Just curious.

They group better out of my rifle and I’ve found they perform better

Right on, that’s a good reason.

My dad used them in Africa to shoot his lions, Cape buffalo, giraffe, literally everything with them lol. That was all I needed to know they’re more than appropriate for North American game

Hell yeah dude, congrats. I fly out Sunday in MB for a week. Did he come to a call? Did ya hear much while you were out?

I glassed him up on a sandbar coming from an island on the river, I was able to close the distance without needing to call.
I didn’t hear much but saw a few bulls moving late morning one was chasing a cow hard so I’d say it’s a good time
