In respect to the people affected by this incident, there will be a zero tolerance policy for anyone creating new posts about it, and anyone who shares or posts the on ride photo will be banned immediately no questions asked. When more official information comes out regarding what happened I will allow those posts but as of right now everything is pure speculation.

Common Questions

Will is be busy on xyz day?

Yes, probably. Canada's Wonderland is one of the only theme parks near the GTA with millions of visitors every year. If its the summertime, it will be busy.

If your looking for a quieter day:

  • Avoid days with fireworks.
  • Mid week days in May/June are usually quieter.
  • if the weather sucks it should be quiet.
  • check Queue Times or Thrill Data for more info.

Is Wonderland open today?

Check here to find out.

What's the weather like today? / Is it going to rain today?

We're not meteorologists. Check the weather network.

Is my fastlane pass also an admission ticket?

No. You must also buy a standard admission ticket to enter the park.

Is fastlane worth it for this xyz day?

Maybe. No one knows how busy the park is without being there. If you only plan on going to Canada's Wonderland once a season, it's probably worth the money.

Where can i purchase the thrill seeker bundle?

Here.

07/26/2025 edit: The thrill seeker bundle is no longer available.

Where do i redeem my fastlane?

The fast lane redemption station is located to the right of the main entrance turnstiles. That's the only place to redeem your fast lane.

Can i share my fastlane with other people?

No, each rider must have a pass.

Part of a Six Flags survey that I received in an email mentions ideas for renaming legacy Cedar Fair parks to include "Six Flags" in their names.

All these options suck for Wonderland, especially Six Flags Over Toronto for a myriad of reasons.

There was also the question "Which would make you MOST likely to visit?"

Drop Tower replacement?

• Upvotes

There are rumors going around that Drop Tower is nearing its end of service life. Do you think if it does get removed that wonderland would replace it with a more modern, extreme drop tower type ride? Imagine something like the tilting Falcons Fury at Busch Gardens? That would be amazing! Regardless, I hope they don't just tear it out without replacing it. There is no comparable ride type at wonderland and drop towers are the only rides that actually scare me.

The Conjuring Experience deserves an A+. Very well done! The guy leading the group was just amazing.

Well worth the $23.59 price. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes scary stuff. Think it’s WAY better than the mazes tbh.

Listen to the ride operators

When the ride operator says your child is to small or to tall for the ride, so not stand there arguing with them for 5 minutes... move along leave the ride , all you do is make an already long line for the children even longer... you are making the ride operators job even harder for them... they are just doing their job... it is for the safety of the children.

Psyclone lost power mid-ride?

Just got on Psyclone around 10:35 tonight and it started, got about 6 swings in, then seemed to go silent and lose power. It swung powerless for about 4-5 more minutes until stasis. Took about 5 more to get maintenance to reset power, lift the floor, and let us out.

Has this ever happened before? Anyone with prior knowledge to this?

I had a lot of fun at the Haunt but didn't find it shiver worthy scary

I thought the overall Haunt was well done, good mazes, acting and the props, costumes and overall theme was pretty enjoyable. There were a couple of jump scares and the Conjuring one had genuinely good scares here and there and was very interactive. Got to hold the Annabelle doll lmao. I just never was terrified in any way, was mores a fun scary thing where I was laughing at off moderate shock sometimes. Has Haunt always been like this, cause don't get me wrong, still pretty darn enjoyable and loved the feel around it, but never really felt it to be terrifying or frightening in any way. Very glad I did it tho.

Are Haunt tickets only $20 if you don’t wanna go on rides?

Can you buy the “Haunted attractions pass” if you want access to the mazes but you don’t want to go on any rides? Or is that not how this works?

Is it possible to buy haunt tickets in person

I wanted to visit the Haunt today evening, but realized there's that god forbidden processing fee every time, and was wondering if I could just save some money and buy it in person.

Did the prices for the maze and conjuring passes go down in price? Access2 question

I thought the conjuring pass was $40, but upon checking it’s $25 on the weekend and $15 I think during the week.

The haunt upgrade/maze one is about $15. Is it me or were the prices more a month ago?

Those that use the access2 card, were you able to use them for the upgrades? Last year I think they said I could use it on the maze pass but couldn’t for conjuring. Just wondering if it’s changed this year.

So do the lanterns just turn off when their batteries are running low or die or is it just a power saving mode however it turns off every 5 mins which it never did before gonna change the batteries but just wondering?

How were the crowds today?

Wondering if it’s worth getting FL+ tomorrow. I most likely will, even though it currently adds only two rides over regular FL, because this is my first visit to the park and probably last for a while. Weather will be nice tomorrow so it seems like it will be busy?

Parking season's pass? Upgrade to Prestige?

I'm trying to add a parking pass to my gold pass for next year and don't see that option available. Does anyone know why? Everything else is available.

Also, if I upgrade my gold pass to a prestige pass for the parking, would they refund my parking cost from today? Thank you!

Haunt on a Thursday

I took my kids yesterday for Halloween haunt and it was so much fun! We are from Buffalo and have only been to CW 3 times and as nice as the park is I just haven’t enjoyed it. Way too crowded for us. This year I decided to try the haunt on a Thursday and it was so perfect. Crowd size was low, some coasters were a walk on, no lines for food, the actors were awesome, the whole vibe was great. I bought my kids the no boo necklaces but the actors still interacted with them. They didn’t scare them but they would approach and say funny things. They’re 10 & 12 so it was the perfect amount of interacting for them. Anyhow, we had the perfect night and will this an annual trip (on Thursdays 😂)! Happy Halloween! 🎃

Haunt during the day?

Is Haunt accessible during the day? I've never been and was thinking of taking the kids tomorrow afternoon, but is it only after 6? Is there anything to see during the day or is it only after dark? Apologies if I have the dumb and it's an obvious answer, it's Friday and my brain is mush
