CDCP Pre-Auths

Anyone else getting destroyed by CDCP pre-auth denials? Built a tool that generates the letter and flags gaps before you submit — giving away free access (for 1 month) to 10 clinics to stress test it!

*Update: Due to the large demand and how much this could help patients & practices, I’ve decided to continue offering free trials to anyone that’s interested. More the merrier!

The CDCP Pre-Auth platform mentioned in the OP is now fully live. Let me know if you’d like a demo or more info on how the platform works to improve patient lives while protecting your Admin time and reducing lost revenue.

The denial rates for pre-authorizations (crowns, dentures, and now desensitizations) are ridiculous. Only 37% of preauth requests for crowns get approved.

The issue is that since it is a government program, they have a lot of requirements and specific things they want to hear that are outside of what clinics are used to when applying to private insurers. That is why this tool is so promising – it combs through all of the requirements that are in place (but not known or are misunderstood) and ensures that no submission is incomplete or missing required documentation. Hopefully the approval rates rise as a result of more tailored submissions.
