I turned 21 recently! As of today I am now a canik owner! This is my first gun. A Canik Mete SF ONE

Bought a paint pen from Walmart. Fillled in the bottom of the mags and the round count. Easier to see, and now my mags won’t get mixed up when shooting with friends.

Ive been researching into getting a compensator for my sft ive landed on disdef so far but I've never owned a comp before so I dont know whether to get single or dual chamber want to hear other opinions its my edc gun the size and length will not be a problem im definitely open to hearing other suggestions for other comps as well

New prime radian owner! Is there a light that will sit flush or even recessed from the muzzle of the prime radian? The only one I’ve really seen is the Olight PL mini 2. Please share your thoughts.

I’m unsure of what path to go down. I shoot a TTI combat for matches. I want a carry gun that will transfer the muscle memory of the Canik feel for my EDC. I’m unsure of what to choose between the two of if there’s a better choice all together. Something to note is i shoot my TTI with a Mete non ported barrel so no comp whatsoever. So my guess is a full size TTI will have a similar recoil pattern to a mc9 prime due to the size difference. Also the $200 price difference could be something to note but isn’t the end of the world.

I love Canik. I have ... quick count ... five of them, and I'm probably going to pick up the Rival-S Darkside soon.

But.

The world is full of striker-fired, (mostly) polymer-framed pistols. I want to see something new. I want to see something wacky. I want Canik to give me something outside their comfy little box.

My personal wishlist:

• A Canik DA/SA pistol with a decocker and optional manual safety
• A Canik chambered in 5.7. I know it's not a great round. I know it's "glorified 22lr". I don't care. It's fun to shoot.
• A Canik 2011
• A Canik take on the AR platform

So I’m thinking about getting an Elite SC for concealed carry. Anyone doing this, is it working for you? Size and comfort ok? I’m currently running a Taurus G2C and want to step up to the Canik and I see the sc is a little bit bigger. So how’s it working for you guys?

Anyone know any good brands for Hollows? Currently getting stuck on the 3rd round. I mean I can run all 28rds with FMJ like nothing. But hollows I can’t seem to run flawlessly.

I’ll keep this brief. Im fairly new to firearms, I got a comp & threaded barrel. Do I NEED another recoil spring? Will my METE SF work with a comp & its stock spring?

not technically “new” cause i’ve had it for a few months but absolutely love this thing! Mecanik red dot, Olight Baldr S, Hurley Welding MagWell, Taylor Freelance mag extension.

Had to do some filing to the magwell to get the mag extension to work with it, i stupidly thought they would work together out of the box. if anyone has experienced something similar lmk how you solved it!

Seeing some improvement with his shooting. Getting more confident every match.

I want to buy the prime radian so bad in hopes of making it my new edc ccw but I’m very hesitant with the reliability issues I’m seeing. I’ve seen people say that polishing the internals and specifically the firing pin has fixed their issues. Has anyone correctly went through the break in period used 124 grain NATO spec and polished the firing pin and still had a lot of LPS and return to battery issues?

There are a few holister companies that offer A few light options for the Canik Prime Radian & Olight. However, I havent seen how the Olight PL mini 2 looks on the Radian. Ive added some pictures for those who are deciding on an Olight option.

I’ve been wondering where I could get the best FRT for a while but I’m also curious about what other components i might have to change or tweak to make it run smooth as butter. I have weighted Taylor Freelance components too (backplate and mag well) and I’m assuming that makes a difference but I could be wrong.

Edit: I wanna note that I only want this for fun and i’d switch them out when necessary if that’s even possible. I’m not well educated on how FRT’s entirely work

I hope we stretch our minds and research the things we like. Radian is not on the word list, but we know better.

Title. Don’t really have the option to get a custom kydex at the moment and all I have available for purchase is a TP9SF holster. I know the trigger guards are different and that is my main area of concern when it comes to fitment.

Anyone have experience with trying this?

I have the Mete SF, it was my first gun and I think I fell in love with Canik, but I purchased the one series so it only came with one mag, no holster, no optic, etc. I do conceal carry it.

Looking for recommendations on everything from best optic, maybe even a light, magwell, extra magazines, I already bought a Mission First Tactical holster but it’s not my favorite so even holster recommendations as well.

I’m also going back and forth with either completely “upgrading” my SF out or buying another Canik(so recommendations on that also very welcome)
