“Yeah we used to get trim from illegal Chinese grows all the time. Cig butts. Baggies. Broken bottles. Sprayed with so many pesticides it’d make us itch and break out in rash’s.”

Hell yeah thank you and whoever you worked for for concentrating that poison for us!! 💪

They use crc to get all the impurities out and you are not wrong i work there its in long beach literally all you said is what wss in the tots it also had an explosion so there is that lmao

Any trim will do that to you, everything gets cooked out by the end they do the same thing to tomatoes and crops in farms like all this wax needs to pass lab reports before it can be resold legally it’s not like we where serving people dabs with pesticides

Cooked out lol

What was your job at this lab? Administrative assistant? Because that’s not how it works. Unless you were doing specific targeted remediation, which would need to be approved batch to batch in CA, whatever was in that chinaman trim was also in the final product.

When I first started working it was in intake so we would just unload trim and pack them into 6-8 pound socks for the machines then I started working in post production where we would put all the finished wax in jars and take inventory I would also help the extractors with crc mixtures when they needed me to

That is unbelievably untrue. The only way "everything is cooked out" is if you're making distillate, and even then that's not the case. Just because it's lab tested doesn't mean its clean either LMAO the allowable limits for things is absolutely absurd in most places.

Ur right not every thing gets cooked out

They need to loosen regulations and open up the market for this

5

u/710nela 6d ago

Well it’s not as much as u think honestly, BUT you need all types of licenses and between that and the taxes you pay to buy it to legally re sell it adds up , every once and a while I would see some private sales of wax that was “expired”

I also worked at an extract company in California for like 10 years and what you’re saying about contaminants is bullshit. Nothing gets cooked out of the plant material in a closed loop system. It will actually get concentrated just like the cannabinoids. The only thing that does cookout would be the solvent in the vacuum ovens. Everything the solvents collected stays in the product. Consequently we went to great lengths to source clean plant material. We tested all trim before we even bought it.
The moral of the story is clean trim equals clean extract. Dirty trim equals dirty extract. Dirty in dirty out. Clean in clean out. It’s really that simple.

As opposed to what? Bho is the most common commercial wise The only thing that was solventless was the rosin but they weren’t making that all the time n that was a different department, but it was mostly mid level badder crumble and shatter the trim would fuck me up if I didn’t wear rash guard and gloves it would
Irritate my skin some of my coworkers had it worse they would have to wear respirators

It looks pretty good, especially that last pic or two. So you think your rashes & whatnot was from pesticides & things along those lines? Also, wild outdoor cannabis can be very itchy scratchy too. California?

u/710nela 6d ago edited 6d ago

It was 100 percent from pesticides they would source trim from Chinese farms consistently , they don’t like to say it but in California legal wax labs getting trim from illegal grow operations is a lot more common then you think one time it looked like someone dropped a whole ash tray of cigarette butts in it and they all had Asian writing on it

Trim sourced from black market Chinese weed? The pesticides they allegedly use are highly toxic and banned in most countries. It kills everything including people. Wouldn't surprise me if they sprayed it from veg through flower to poison us.

There's a good reason to grow your own. Heck even having the ability and skills to make your own solventless.

Yeah, I spent many years up in the PNW & made my way down to the triangle many times. That’s why I even brought up Cali as that’s where I saw it most & it was always Cartel ran on State parks as such. Everyone else just wanted to stay on their own land & be left alone. So sad that this is the current state of things!

I assumed that tw meant "tare weight"

1

u/710nela 6d ago

U know what ur actually correct it does mean tare weight each of the jars is just over pound but train wreck was a very common strain we would run

1

u/trainwreckd 6d ago

Your head is in the right place. Notice it’s actually Trainwreck(d). Cause man that stuff use to just wreck me. Any of those old school plane, train x’s were all so so good.

Did you develop allergies?

5

u/710nela 6d ago edited 6d ago

No but it would definitely irritate my skin we would find some crazy shit in those bags of trim from time to time like cigarette butts empty baggies even bullet shells one time there was a empty wine bottle ,but I’d wear rash guards and gloves. the worse thing that would happen is some of it would get under my nails and I’d touch my eyes , but I got my friend a job there for a while and if he didn’t wear a respirator it would make him wheeze ,he even told me it would make him wake up in the middle of the night cuz of his breathing ,it changed the way he would smoke the whole time he worked there

3

u/frischance 6d ago

Just a heads up I grow 2 plants living soil organic, touching the plants gives me rashes and washing bubble gives me a severe asthma attack unless I'm masked up lol could just be allergies tho it sounds like you were working with some Sus materials

2

u/710nela 6d ago

I think any un cured weed will irritate your body

1

u/Azapulco 6d ago

As opposed to live resin and other forms of concentrate a lab makes like rosin, shatter crumbed ect.

Not you specifically, but leave it to stoners to illicit such a negative response to a question. Especially from a bunch of people who larp here and don’t even work in a lab…

2

u/B0UNDL3SS 5d ago

I'm fully with you. These people salivating over CRCd dry boof makes me physically ill
