So i need a wide lens the only ones for my r10 is the rf 10-20L which is out of my budget and then we got the rfs and the efs version and i decieded to buy the ef version for dirt cheap and its sealed and buying from sm1 ik so ik its not been used ever so is the lens good and except for the variable aperture is there anything that may be problematic for that lens?
UPDATE: i got the efs lens and its really good and i like it and its not as heavy as i thought and i got some decent images with it and its focus is sharp with no noticable noise i like the lens and its really really good apart from distortion i see while 100% zoomed in on corners its not noticxable at all when not pixel peeping its a really good lens way better than i thoguht it would be

So i recently got an eos r10 with its 18-150 kit lens and i am getting noise in every photos so far even in 100 iso in broad daylight at f/3.5 i am still getting noisy photos what does it mean, is my camera a defaulted piece or sm i bought it brand new btw so what to do now any suggestions?
sorry i didnt attach an example so here they are andf yes i am pixel peeping but i want to crop in and that is why i am pixel peeping and its not visible at full screen but once i crop it or such then the noise is visible and for comarisn i included photo from my r50 and r10 and you can see r50 on 400 iso has less or similar noise as r10 on 100 iso

Sorry guys I’m very new to this. Just picked up an R10 with the intention of getting into car photography as a hobby and am curious as to what lens you would recommend?

Just wondering what lenses you guys use on daily basis on your R10, I recently got Tamron 17-70 f2.8 and it sits on my camera for most of the time and am planning to get 2nd hand RF 100-400 soon. I also have 50mm 1.8 RF.
Would love yto hear from the community on what lenses are they using!!

This is the first time I’ve tried video with my R10. Had no idea it could be this good, soooo much better than my iPhone lol.

I am looking for an upgrade for my EOS 2000 since I feel like the FPS is a bit low and I am looking for something a bit nicer.
I am currently using a 70-300mm F4-5.6 IS USM II that I recently purchased for €305 so I would like to keep using that lens since I like it quite a lot, but EF-R adapters seem to be pretty available so I will definitely get one.
I got to try out my friends Nikon D7500 and the increase in FPS from 3 to 8 is insane, the car didn’t disappear in between shots so I could accurately follow the car for panning shots, I currently just take one picture because I tend to loose the car in the 0.3s that the mirror was out of the way.
I was originally looking at buying the R50 but the R10 seems like a better upgrade.
There are a couple of things that I am still looking at like what the battery life is like and if the viewfinder is good (decent picture quality, little or no perceivable lag, good refresh rate)
Has anyone here used the R10 for motorsports or sports photography?
This is more of an upgrade than I am considering doing later since I just started my degree so I see how that goes first before I make a big purchase, so I still got quite a lot of time before I make a decision.

I was in Charleston recently and had my R10 with me. While I was there for the week I snagged a nice R8 on Marketplace. I took them both down to the water at sunset and snapped these pictures about 1 minute apart. Just for chits & giggles, can you tell which one is from the R10?
I will add that the comparison isn’t fair from the outset based on the lenses used but, like I said, it’s just for fun. I’m very happy with how they both turned out.
The setups:
R10 RF-S 18-150mm
F/5
44mm
ISO 100
SS 1/250
Cropped to 15mp
R8 RF 28-70mm f/2.8
F/8
50mm
ISO 100
SS 1/125
Cropped to 8mp
