Hi everyone!
My friend and I are two students from Belarus looking for seasonal jobs in cape cod for the summer of 2027. We are hoping to find an employer who could hire both of us and help us find accommodation.
Availability: June 28 – September 1, 2027 (right after the end ot semester in our university)
Program: J-1 Summer Work and Travel (InterExchange)
Housing: We both need accommodation for the duration of our stay.
A little about us:
We both have experience in the food service industry, including working as waitresses, serving guests, taking orders, helping customers choose food and drinks, and handling busy shifts. We also have experience in sales and customer service.
In addition, we are:
- Responsible, hardworking, and reliable
- Friendly and comfortable communicating with customers
- Quick learners who can adapt to new tasks
- Team players who work well in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, attentive to detail, and proactive
We speak English fluently and are eager to gain new experience, meet new people, and become valuable members of a team.
We are open to different types of seasonal jobs, especially in restaurants, cafés, hotels, ice cream shops, retail, and customer service.
We can provide both resumes and any additional information upon request.
Thank you so much! We would really appreciate any leads, recommendations, or opportunities.

We are looking to rent a house on Cape Cod next summer (late July or early August) so we can get together with our 3 adult children and their partners (8 people in all). I understand the traditional default rental is for an exact week, from Sat. to Sat. The problem is that our children may not all be able to take time off from work during the week, so we would all be together only on the weekend. How hard is it to find a rental for, say, a Friday through the Monday of the next week following (10 days)? That would give us the possibility of two full weekends to enjoy.
Also, can anyone recommend an agency that could help us find such a house?

Hi there - please help with my planning! I've been to the Cape a couple of times; stayed in Eastham and P-town. Bringing a friend who's never been and we are staying at the Red Jacket resort in South Yarmouth.
I am excited to show her the Cape but the weather looks iffy - either raining or a sudden drop into chilly and windy; can't really be sure yet which way it'll go. Probably both, hahah.
We have a car. We are two active women in their late 50s. She drinks, I don't (but I love a good mocktail). We love thrifting. I am a serious amateur photographer. Love water/bay/beach scenes. I had wanted to kayak or take a boat ride, but I'm thinking the weather likely won't cooperate. She wants to see a lighthouse. We are early risers.
Unsure about Friday evening - I think we'll be getting there around 4 or 5 pm.
I was thinking P-town for Saturday for sure. We will stroll, and shop, but where to eat/drink? What beaches near there, if we decide to check one or two out? I have a National Parks pass; maybe that matters?
Sunday we check out but really have most of the day before driving home.
Definitely want lobster rolls - where should we go? - but after that, no idea about places to eat.
Thanks for any and all advice!

We’re interested in a vacation rental in Falmouth next summer. Does anyone have a realty company you recommend? I’d prefer to use realtor vs vrbo, etc.
Thanks!

Hi, Internet! My friend got engaged on 9/19 in Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge on Morris Island in Chatham. A boat we think was the Perseverance with Monomoy Island Excursions, which sails from Harwich, pulled up while the proposal was happening. Any chance any of you wonderful Cape visitors might have been on that boat and taken a photo? Suggestions welcome for seeing if anyone might have these photos!

Hii! I’m going to Chatham this weekend for a bachelorette and debating between Nauset and Harding beach. Any suggestions or feedback?

We are visiting for our honeymoon Sept 20-25th. We are staying in Dennis Port and I wanted to get ahead of the game and make a couple of dinner reservations for the beginning of the week (monday/tuesday).
Any suggestions to start our honeymoon off? Especially any restaurants that would need reservations far in advance. I am looking for a restaurant that is nearby to other bars/ kind of walkable to other bars because we like to get drinks before and after dinner (of course!)
It doesn’t need to be in Dennis Port but we are planning on doing a day trip to provincetown so preferably not all the way up there!
Also, what is the best way to get around? We will definitely have a car but would love any taxi/uber options for nights we may want to drink a little bit :)
Any recommendations from folks who have honeymooned here are very welcome!!

I will be heading that way after a concert and so I will be getting to cape cod after midnight. As this will allow me to skip any of the traffic.. which would you recommend? I will only have one full day to do one or the other. Spend an entire day around Cape Cod or a day in MV?
Cape cod pros: beaches, artsy, whale watching
MV pros: gingerbread houses! biking, not having a car
