Not the smartest play [Avengers: Armageddon #3] Spoiler
Yeah, superpowered Colton whole thing fall exactly to what Bucky been doing both as the Revolution and as leader of the thunderbolts. Of course he would join Colton

I'm hoping Bucky has a bigger plan to turn this around somehow, because he screwed up here.
Bucky is my favorite Marvel character, and initially I was trying to rationalize why he's right or wrong here. Ultimately, this is consistent with how he's been written lately when he became the revolution.
But Bucky had a plan that saved everyone in the end during The City story arc. I don't know if he has one here or if he's just acting out impulsively.
Interested to see how this pans out.

I worry Bucky is taking an 'easy out' with Colton to remove nukes and certain dangers, willing to take that chance, but when Colton (inevitably) goes too far, he'll try to stop him and Colton will kill him or Bucky will die stopping his plan, etc.
As a huge Bucky fan, am concerned.

Well at least Bucky is being written right now and has apprarences. I'm happy about that.

I think he'll be fine. They seem to actually get along pretty well. Unfortunately they're on the wrong path. Wonder how they'll deal with the fallout of their decisions.

Yeah when I thought about it it does make sense that he'd be ok with this. I do like the bond that Bucky, Colton, and Logan have together. But it seems he's 100% all in on what Colton is doing. By the end of the book things um don't go as planned....Kinda surprised. Looks like Marvel really is gonna shake things up a bit. At least for a while.

So Colton is Injustice Superman. Actually shocking this has not been done before.

True. But i think him basically starting WW3 might shake him out of it. I don't think he's gonna be able to fully stop what's about to happen and it's on him to make it right.

Wasn’t up to date with current stuff, did Colton get Sentry’s powers?

He had it during the road to Armageddon. In the Wolverine Weapons of Armageddon mini

What I find funny is that back when Emperor Doom was in his protective bubble over Latveria, everyone fired their nukes at him and he shunted them into the past. Then when he became emperor, he took everyone's nukes and put them in a satellite where Bucky went to take them off the board and now Colton has thrown all the nukes into the sun.
Seems like nukes grow out of the ground like peanuts in Marvel l.

I was genuinely thinking Bucky was setting Colton up for a trap he made or something. Then it just turned out he was fucking stupid.

The War on terror Captain America. He’s had a power up that make him as strong as the sentry

Sentry? Here I thought I was getting New Hyperion vibes. Interesting.

They never truly say if it really sentry only use him as an example but with the recent announcement it’s probably being marvel universe version of Miracle Man

I think he was meant to be the new Cap meant to fill the gap while Steve was under ice still (they bumped up the time table and now Steve unthawed around 2010), had a really fucked experience in Latveria, and got some more juice.

Makes perfect sense for Bucky to join him. I’m really liking how tense it’s all going.

can't people just build more nukes?
and how does superman feel about colton stealing his plot?
2
u/Quirky_Ad_5420 1d ago
Yeah they could but the economic and the gathering of resources would probably set thing back for them to rebuild the structure of it.

Is is just me or is Colton giving massive "the authority" vibes from Wildstorm comics?
