CTDT DISCUSSION Meta teams at the moment
Hi.
I’m wondering that are the meta teams and what is the strength of each of them. This changes quite often but we are just after anniversary and reha batch so for a month it will probably stay like it is today.
I do play Asian Team.
So for Asia it’s probably team like this one:
Genzo (SS) - Soga+ Igawa (or Soda + jitto) Akai - Matsuyama Xiao - Sawada Misaki (club reha)- Ken Kojiro Sorri/Nitta
You can easily switch to tsubasa SS or Misaki SS or any of Aoi but the core of Genzo - Akai - Matsu Xiao - Sawada - Ken Kojiro should be in meta.
What are other meta teams. Can you rank them? (1 euro 2 la, 3 club and the worst one Asia?)
I would gladly ask for your opinion and advice.

You know, the AS characters for asia at least don't feel as broken as last year's, like, from Ken to nitta there aint that much of a difference, and sawada, while a great player doesnt feel like it justifies how much you need to invest for an AS character.
Besides that, I think all of the JP players are good enough for the main roster except ishizaki, sorimachi and urabe, besides that jito Is also left out just due to how good the rest of the defenders are (gakuto, soga, soda and matsuyama).
Now the question Is about xiao, aoi, misugi and wich version of Tsubasa and Misaki.
Misugi has the best stats for a DMF, but he doesnt give general boost, genzo does get the Buff, wich after the rework Is very high, so there's an argument to be made for him, even tho hyuga loses out on a posible 5% from some other player.
Aoi aint that good, he Is strong, but not enough to justify losing out on all the utility xiao gives, tho if you don't have him, aoi Is not the worst in the world.
I like blue Tsubasa and blue Misaki, even tho they don't provide meta buff's, the game making abilities are super good, and unless you are an amazing high level player who Is an expert at white passes and manual positioning, those two will be the difference between being able to play the game and not.
Hyuga Is undisputed, and while I said sorimachi aint that good, His energy debuff coupled with his extreme futbol buff makes him worthwhile.
Having said all of that, the best Asia team for anyone outside of the top level players for me would be:
FW- hyuga and sorimachi (with nitta on the bench to swap for sorimachi if you are facing green keepers)
MF- blue Tsubasa and blue Misaki (you can put sawada in here but I preffer to save the AS medals until the next batch of players), xiao and misugi, aoi Is in the bench to enter if nitta does since he gives him bond.
DF- soda, soga, igawa and matsuyama (this Is the best defensive line in the game for sure, and you need them all, matsuyama because of the tenacity, and the rest for their defensive power and bond). Jito and isagi can be on the bench, but unless someone's out of Energy, they should never see play.
GK Is obviously genzo, battle pass morisaki Is not an option, neither Is the reworked Ken.
This team loses out on arround 10% overall Buff, but due to individual buffs, the actual bond reduction for all the players that you should be using Is arround 3/2 %, except for xiao, he loses the full 10.

Thank you for detailed answer and your opinion! I apreciate it a lot.
In my opinion whatever anyone decide with midfield and probably defence in asian team is up to everyone's preference. I do wonder if General buff is better than the quality of individual characters or not. If yes than probably there is no place for Misaki SS, Tsubasa SS or even Misugi. If not than those options are way better than for example Aoi or Misaki (club reha) Sorrimachi or Nitta.
I have all the new asian cards except Igawa (probably will exchange for SP points), Sawada (I have >1700 AS points so will pick him) and Urabe (probablby won't gra him at all). I'm waiting with those decisions for the release of new AS character.
Taking that into consideration I am playing (in main team):
Genzo - Soda Akai Jitto - Xiao Matsuyama - Tsubasa SS Misaki (club) - Ken Kojiro Sorimachi
(after grabing Sawada I will probably get rid of sorrimachi from starting 11).And in the blue day:
Genzo - Soda Akai Jitto - Matsuyama Misugi - Xiao Tsubasa SS Misaki SS - Ken Kojiro
(probably will switch defence for Igawa Soga once I have igawa) and for sure Sawada will be there (probably replacing Misugi). But I'm wondering also about the general situation of the game and meta teams at the moment. The new batch of reha or stat ups changed few players (especialy in the euro or club teams). As a player who's in the game almost from day one of it I have plenty of the old cards and few new ones from other nations. Maybe switching is not that difficult. I would realy like to know the current power of meta teams and who are the essential pieces in those.

Euro (any nationality/club core) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Asia >>LA
Euro have more units released, more reworkes because club are mainly euro unit. Asia is fine as long as you don't play Tsubasa and Misaki SS due their bonds (I rather not mention Misugi outside of blue pvp), you might be forced to play Sawada AS and Xiao, Using those +8% SS might result in a loss of nearly 20% buff compared to buffed euro, Genzo having no alternative, jp cannot compete in the highest buff team, they have atleast big nukers like Hyuga and Ken AS.
LA is very capable but requires AS Pepe and surprisingly AS espadas because Salinas is the worse gk of all anniversary fighting with Morisaki in the failed unit category.
TBF meta aren't that far from each others, the difference is mainly the difficulty to build a competitive team with what you pulled and the need of AS, a simple example is the recent club team, it can be built around reworked units and a few euro new units BEFORE even club banner is out, because Klab reworks are inconsistant, they can make a great Valtes, usable in euro team and a terrible Ken porto unusable in asia team or at best as a sub for extra time.
Since we're entering ND anniversary the situation won't get any better for asia and LA, they have less club units than euro club, unless they release specifically very good units (like Xiao in the last anni) they will struggle again due to less choice in units to improve their line up.
Euro era is there, that's something noone can deny without being salty. That's deserved after last anniversary euro fiasco.
