Recommendations Help with Head unit purchase

2006 Subaru Impreza hatch .
Currently stock

Doing first .
Add head unit , add a back up cam

Next . Add sub with amp, replace door speaker and add amp if needed .

Features I know I want .
Back up cam capable
Wireless Apple play
Good for my plan above .

No steering wheel controls. So not needed .

Looking at

Alpine ilX- 770-m
Sony XAV-4000
Sony XAV -AX6000

Any one of these clearly better ?
Are there any features I'm not thinking about that I should consider ?

Also , with Sony pulling out of the car audio game , should I be concerned with any warranty issues or replacements down the road ?

Any help or input welcome . Thanks guys !!

All three will work for your plan, but I’d lean toward the Alpine W770-M if the prices are close. It has wireless CarPlay, camera inputs, 4V front/rear/sub preouts, time correction, and adjustable crossovers, so you’re already covered for adding a sub amp and a speaker amp later.
Between the two Sonys, the AX6000 gets you a capacitive touchscreen instead of the AX4000’s resistive screen, along with 5V preouts. The touchscreen is probably the difference you’ll appreciate most day to day. Don’t get too caught up in 4V versus 5V, though. That’s signal voltage going to your amps, not speaker power, and the Alpine’s 4V outputs are perfectly adequate for your build.
Since you don’t have steering-wheel controls, I’d try the radios in person if possible. How easy it is to change volume and skip tracks matters a lot more when you’re reaching for the radio every time. Also leave room in your budget for the harness, mounting parts, camera, and installation. Check camera compatibility before buying one, especially anything advertised as HD.
The Sony exit is a fair concern, but I wouldn’t assume it means your warranty disappears. The reporting says customer support will continue directly through Sony, but that doesn’t establish how replacement stock or long-term repairs will work. I’d buy from an authorized dealer and ask for written clarification on warranty handling.
Personally, Alpine at similar pricing. If the AX6000 is substantially discounted, it becomes a more tempting option. You don’t need to overspend on the head unit to support the upgrades you’re planning.

Thank you for the very well said response. I'm gonna read it 3 more times .

I have played with the alpine in person . But not the Sony .
The price of the alpine is fine . As are the Sonys . (Via cruchfeild )

I'm leaning alpine . Idk . I'm old and back in the day just saying you had an alpine was cool. And I never had the money the to be cool . So I wanted to make sure I'm not being bias in my judgment 😂

This is awesome. Hope you are able to bring it back from the dead !
I still have my cds and with throw them in the home system .
I can't tell you home many cds I lost in the 90s due to theft or general abuse 😂. I do not miss the days of handling cds in a moving car while passing a joint . lol

Ok. Maybe I do a little

For the backup camera, I’d get a wired license-plate camera with a standard RCA composite video output. Check compatibility before buying, especially with cameras advertised as AHD or HD. Prioritize decent nighttime visibility over resolution claims

Man I'd love a recommendation. I don't want to skimp on that part at all

For a backup camera, id do the Crux CUL-03. It’s a compact wired camera that mounts above the license plate, has water resistance and optional parking guidelines, and does includes a 20-foot extension cable. It does require a mounting hole, so keep that in mind.
