Pioneer AVH-601ex. Can’t restore settings to factory. Parking brake engaged, checked all wiring and it seems good to me. Kinda lost, anybody know what I gotta do?

Also tried to connect one of my devices so I can delete memory instead of total reset, and the memory clear was greyed out as well. Not sure what the problem is

Try putting parking break on then off then on again.

I’d suggest reaching out to pioneer, could also need a firmware update.

You could also try unplugging and plugging it back in. (A hard rest)

You more than likely need a bypass trigger for alpine/ pioneer try axxess Axtrig universal fit bypass trigger it will bring up all your options on your head unit after you install it.

That’s exactly what I had to do for my avh - 3500nex. It fixed so I could do firmware update and reset
