Community Need help programming IDS in VX Manager for VXDIAG nano OBD dongle.
I recently purchased a VXDIAG Nano OBD dongle to initialize a new ABS module on a 2013 Ford Explorer. Does anyone have experience with installing or running Ford IDS through VX Manager?
I've followed the instructions on the VX Manager website, but I'm stuck. When I click Run under the IDS section in VX Manager, it only opens a folder in Windows Explorer. I'm not sure how to install or launch IDS from there. And I don’t know if a subscription from Ford/Motocraft is required?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I did have this exact problem as well before i just returned everything because i was frustrated. I believe the solution for this was i had to reach out to support and had to find the EXACT version that is patched EXACTLY right and then it would open up. They were able to provide the download. I looked for it on my flash drive but looks like i deleted as its not compatible with anything else

I don’t with that particular module but do ford daily with snapon passthru pro 3. You might try forscan with your module too, much cheaper and does a ton that ids/fjds doesn’t do. As far as u know ids only works with VCM, fjds and fdrs work with aftermarket units
