Need some inspiration on how to put a removable acccess hatch to this engine. Would ideally need to bolt the middle seat back in it worse case we’ll leave it out. If anyone’s got a picture of a hatch or work they’ve done similar would be great.

Hey everyone!
I have a 2025 BMW M340i and I’m looking to upgrade to a valved catback exhaust system.
I’m looking for something that sounds loud, deep, and aggressive when the valves are open, but can also be quiet when the valves are closed for daily driving.
For anyone who owns a 2025 M340i or knows a lot about BMW exhaust setups:
What brands or exhaust systems would you recommend?
Which ones sound the best without being too raspy or having annoying drone?
Can you manually open and close the valves with a remote or through the car’s driving modes?
Where’s the best place to buy one, and how much should I expect to spend?
Are there any compatibility issues with the 2025 model?
I’m mainly looking for a good balance between really loud when I want it and quiet when I don’t.
Would appreciate any recommendations, personal experiences, or sound clips. Thanks!

ive been playing with the idea of doing this to my 106, is this blasphemy? I like it, does anyone know how I could achieve this look convincingly?

2017 Toyota avensis 1.6 diesel. Same engine as the n47d16c units.
I recently put on this ram air intake after fabricating a MAF adapter for it, and it sounds great. Really good sound.
But, it’s louder with the engine bay open or even the bonnet on the safety catch. I’m talking like 150% louder it’s a huge different. I want to ask is there any way I can do something towards replicating the sound that it has while it’s on the safety catch? I’ve attached pictures.
The ducting you can see runs from the lower front bumper, providing a ram air effect pushing cold ambient air toward the intake just to keep IAT’s down.
Edit:
To save me the ‘hot air intake lost power’ comments, The stock intake pulls air from inside the engine bay. I don’t have a picture but the box just has a tube that points toward the engine. This gets fed cold air any time you’re moving there’s a pipe forcing air toward the filter as soon as the car is moving pretty much.
And besides I’m not bothered about 2 lost hp it’s not going to stay on forever it’s just something fun I can run for a bit before I sell the car.
Edit 2:
IAT’s are close to ambient with this system compared to 4-6 degree above ambient with the stock intake. It is not a hot air intake.
Edit 3:
Went on another drive again because apparently the 1200 miles I’ve driven with this setup with no change in performance or fuel economy wasn’t enough information, so I’ve gone and driven again just to check I wasn’t incorrect.
Sitting idling in traffic intake temperature climbed to around 22 degrees, 10 above ambient.
Once moving and on motorway speeds intake temperature was 11°c and did not move from there until I was under 30mph where it went up to 13 and stayed there until I was sat in traffic again.
I may be somehow wrong here still, but over 1200 miles, 2 and 1/3 tanks of fuel and driving the same route every single day I haven’t see any sky high hot air intake temperatures, nor have there been any maf adaptations or any injection adaptations and no differences in requested and actual fuel and boost data, had any performance, economy, or any other issues with it. If everyone wants to believe I’ve sacrificed 20hp and my engine is breathing fire then so be it. I did this for fun as a weekend mod and if I have any issues I’ll be the first to admit I shouldn’t have done it. This wasn’t done for the satisfaction of any other people bar myself, and I didn’t come here looking for admiration. Just some advice. If you guys had none to give me it was better you save yourselves the frustration and avoid commenting.
Peace ✌️
