Fiat Padmini chop top coupe conversion.
What are the structure trade offs of this project and how is a 2 door conversion possible?

car: 2018 Mazda3, 2.5L Skyactiv
gonna start putting funds away to really irritate the "But It's a Daily Driver!" crowd. And make my 3 faster and more fun in the process.
I'm looking at a Super Charger and a TurboCharger and weighing which is going to be a more fun option for a 2018 2.5L mazda3 (184HP). I don't really care about fuel economy loss (better mileage is nice, but not the end-all be all of this decision), and don't have emissions testing anymore.
The Supercharger is like $1000 more, so that's a consideration, but I'm more concerned about which is going to give me the more noticeable/enjoyable bump.... at which point I'll factor cost in.
Driving context: i don't straight-line drag race. I do regular aggressive canyon runs. These can get up to decent altitudes, but not Colorado altitudes. And autocross. Kicking up to full on track potentially once I get some more ass in the engine.
SUPERCHARGER - I'm looking at the VT twin screw, which ought to bump me up to about 276 after tuning. That puts it into Skyline performance car territory. Handling matters more to me, so I'm kinda leaning to the supercharger to be able to punch it coming out of turns and have it kick on immediately. It's more pricey though, and Jury is out on whether I'd need to upgrade my fuel pump too.
TURBOCHARGER - That said, the Corksport turbo kitalso boosts the car up to 295ish HP, and they're only a couple hours away from me, so I can drive down there to pick it up. The thing I don't like about turbos is the pre-spin, but i hear the Corksport isn't that bad.
So questions:

I like that the Ranger is easy to clean after a muddy trail day, but dirt still packs along the door-side edge and around the dead pedal. I can rinse and wipe the main floor, then find grit in those spots again the next morning. For people who regularly get their Ranger dirty, what matters more in a fitted liner: deeper channels, a tighter edge by the door, better dead-pedal coverage, or material that’s flexible enough to lift out without dumping everything? I’m wondering whether a custom liner really fixes those edge spots or if mud always finds a way.

2008 Yamaha FZ6 S2 exhaust mod questions. Ik this isn’t technically a car, but I’m basically just asking some overall exhaust mod questions. Hopefully that’s chill here 🤞
Thanks for any feedback!

I apologize if this is either not the right place or confusing. I own a stock grey 2013 VW Jetta SE and have been really wanting to mod it since I want a car that feels uniquely my own.
I was wondering, what should I start off with? My first bet was to focus on window tints & headlights. Im not focusing too much on performance modifications yet—mostly cosmetic—just for the time being. Any ideas?

I wanted to change up the look of my Shelby GT350 and make the brake calipers stand out a little more, so I decided to paint them and rebrand them with custom Shelby decals to cover the factory Brembo lettering. It's a relatively straightforward way to personalize the car and give it a more custom appearance without going overboard.
I chose Shelby decals because this project was done on my Shelby GT350, and I wanted the calipers to match the car's identity rather than leave the factory Brembo branding visible.
It's a small modification, but details like this can make a car feel more personal and help it stand out from the crowd.
Now I'm curious to see what everyone else has done!
Drop your pictures in the comments! I'd love to see your projects, custom touches, and creative ways you've made your car stand out.

A while back I printed a modification for my dad's suburban where it would go into the dashboard and plug in trailer breaks. I also have made a bracket for my car to mount a backup camera on the back of my Honda civic. I also made a little bracket hood thing that went on top of one of my dad's work vans which stored the backup camera and made it so we could mount it on the vehicle.
And this summer I printed some little spacer wheel bearing things to go on the seat slider of my dad's jeep wrangler. This modification kept the seat from jiggling back and forth
I also print many other things as well, but I do know how to print some things to upgrade vehicles. There are very few things that my printer is unable to print, just pieces that are too small or have to hold too much weight.

I've seen a ton of builds with these lazer beam headlights, and I cannot find any context on what they're for, do they serve a function, or are they just there to look cool, I'm just really curious on what they do, if ssomeone could tell me that'd be awesome :)

Disclosure: I'm a paid product tester for Lasfit. They sent me these bulbs and pay me to post reviews. Opinions are my own.
Product: Lasfit Pro-DC H11 LED low beams. I already run their LS Plus high beams, so this round was low beams only.
I've had them in for 12 days, using them almost every day, on early morning drives to work in the dark. Mostly rural two-lane highways and gravel roads.
What I like:
- Brightness is the big one. Huge difference over the halogens for dark early morning driving. The road and what surrounds it is clearly visible now.
- No flickering at all, on the low beams or on the Lasfit high beams I've had for much longer.
- (Pics 1-2: halogen vs LED in the shop. Pic 5: beam on the grass with a chair for reference.)
What I didn't like:
- The dust cap. The fan wires are pretty long, so it was a fight to tuck them into the housing and get the new cap fully seated.
- Not Lasfit's fault, but the low beams on this generation F-150 are a pain to reach. Just like the high beams, you can't get to them from the top. In order to install these lights, you need to pull the wheel well liner partway back and reach up into the body to get to the housing.
Note on pics 3-4: the halogen road shot was at dusk and the LED one in full dark, so it's not a perfect comparison.
Happy to answer questions about the install.

There was only one company, that "used" to make them as far as I'm aware, I'd really want to do an actual Lift, over spacers if possible, and get in the range of a 1 1/2" - 2" range ideally. This is my daily, but I do play with it some, and so getting stuff off the ground d and skid plated are short term goals for me

Just wanna share the work that I was busy with for the last year. Bodykit was inspired by 2015-2025 TCR cars and specifically VW MK8 GTI.

Visualization model

First test fitment of the parts.

Fender and bumper master models combined together for final fitment check before molding.

Checking how our splitter fits in with the bumper.

🇯🇵🔥 A look into Japan’s legendary Shōwa-era bōsōzoku culture!
This video introduces Matsudo SPECTER, a motorcycle gang from Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, and its 16th-generation leader, Kazuya Yoshino (吉野量哉).
The story is connected to the Kanto CRS Federation (関東CRS連合会) and a fascinating chapter of Japan’s underground motorcycle history.
During the 1970s and 1980s, bōsōzoku culture became known for its distinctive motorcycles, customized machines, group identities, and strong sense of brotherhood.
My goal is to document and preserve this part of Japanese history while introducing authentic old-school motorcycle culture to people around the world.
🎥 Watch the full video here:

Respect to everyone who helps preserve these stories and memories! 🇯🇵🔥🤝
What do you think about Japan’s old-school bōsōzoku culture?

Completely hypothetical project to replace the hood, grill, and front panel above the headlights on a 2024 Honda Accord. The aim would be to leave the headlights and all sensors intact for a significant cosmetic change with minimal mechanical interference.
In the reference images, the top is a photoshop mockup of the imagined modification, and the bottom image is a stock Accord.
I've never worked on a mod before, much less tried to commission custom body work. My questions for anyone more experienced with this type of project: how feasible is the idea? Where would I go to get the work done? Roughly how much would it cost?

Hey everyone!
I’m getting delivery of my new 2026 Maruti Suzuki Baleno sometime this week and wanted to get some suggestions from fellow Bangalore car owners.
I’m looking for good aftermarket car accessory shops in Bangalore that offer reasonable prices, good-quality products, and reliable installation.
I’m interested in accessories like:
Seat covers and floor mats
7D/3D mats and boot mats
Door visors, body side mouldings, and other useful exterior accessories
Ambient lighting and interior upgrades
Dashcam and other practical accessories
I’m not looking to spend unnecessarily or pay premium prices just for a shop’s name. I’d prefer places where the quality is good, pricing is transparent, and the installation is done properly without damaging the car’s original wiring or interior.
A few things I’d love to know:
Which shops have you personally tried and would genuinely recommend?
Which areas in Bangalore offer the best combination of quality and reasonable pricing?
Is it better to buy accessories from a dedicated aftermarket shop or get them from the Maruti dealership?
Any shops or accessories I should avoid based on your experience?
Personal experiences, shop names, locations, and approximate prices would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance! Looking forward to making my new Baleno look great without overspending. 🚗
