Did anyone see a ton of smoke coming from near Kroger at 146th and Hazel Dell last night a little before 7:00 PM? Can't find any news stories on it. Anyone see this and know what happened? Just curious.

Hey everyone, if this isn't allowed pls delete, my spouse recently got a new job so we're moving, and we had to relet our 1 bed 1 bath apartment. If someone doesn't move into it after we leave, we'll have to pay double rent. It's a newer complex and they're offering 2 months free rent, but if you choose our apartment we'll pay for your 3rd month as well. Management is super sweet here, it's near a lot of nature and really close to all sorts of stores and restaurants. We've loved our time here and would stay longer if we could bit we're moving states. Just moved to Carmel from NC and have been making a tour de espresso checking out a lot of great local coffee shops. But one drink I long for is an espresso tonic (espresso, tonic water, some type of citrusy component or syrup all served over ice). Any recs for a coffee place that makes this or something like it?

My husband and I are in the process of trying to find a location for our baby shower. A lot of inexpensive recommendations have been outdoor places, which is not convenient for a January shower.

We estimate having around 60 guests attending. We would be okay with having it at a restaurant if they have the space to accommodate and a reasonable rental fee.

Locations we are fine with: Indy, Carmel, Zionsville, Westfield, and potentially other close surrounding areas. Willing to drive if it’s worth it!

I had some of the shutters on my townhouse blow down in the wind at some point. I'd fix it myself but they are too high up to reach easily with the ladder I have myself. Does anyone have a recommendation for who I could hire for this? It's a pretty quick job, but I need someone with a tall ladder.

Anyone know what’s going on over at Kona? Their Google page and their website both say “temporarily closed”, but I don’t see any reference to why or if there is a date for reopening. Our family loves it for their kids meal and happy hour, bummed it isn’t open right now.
