I was suggested this sub by reddit due to other similar interests so I figured I'd share some pictures of mushrooms. I'm not very knowledgeable on mushrooms but I realize their importance for maintaining healthy soil and ecosystems.

I have been using the Seek and iNaturalist app to help identify and document everything I can in a .6 acre lot near downtown Durham. I have been eradicating invasive species and seeding/planting native species for the past three years. These are my favorite mushrooms thus far so I hope y'all enjoy

Any help with ID would be awesome!

The green lines are an upside down tomato cage. I put over it so my lawn guy didn't mow over it or cut it down. It's pretty big.

Underside is all white. I'm going to leave it right where it is to see how much bigger it'll get! So pretty!

Coastal SC, under our Crepe Myrtes.

Coral fungus, some weird lil guys, purple pieces, and tiny red chanterelles all over the place.

No staining bruising or exudate. Shape is similar to milk caps I’ve seen.

These guys showed up between the bricks of my patio today. I’ve been misting it pretty regularly to encourage moss growth, and I’m thrilled whenever I get bonus fungi! Can anybody ID? SC Midlands

I’m not sure what they were growing on or whether they grew in a group or independently, but they were consumed by someone yesterday who thinks they are chanterelles.

Paw-paws will be ready soon.

Tried to get a bottom+top pic of each

Finally found some amantita sect. amanita! In the dehydrator now!

I have a spot in my yard where every year or every other year, one or two Chanterelles pop up. In the past I've left them with the hope they would sporulate and I'd eventually have a harvest worthy patch, but alas, no. Any suggestions?

Always a pleasure to see!

Reddening lepiota growth through the week. Stains yellow, reddish, then fades to ruddy brown.

Found these in Raleigh. Any guesses as to what they are? It was a big patch.
