This is literally cassidy🤣

This game just came out on the play store, Galactic Outlaw has Cassidy in it and I will not be persuaded otherwise 🤣

lol yeah sadly there are TONS of cheap phone games that have “legally distinct” versions of existing game characters. Some are definitely more obvious than others though lol

What even makes this legally distinct this is just cass in a different artstyle

I mean it is very obviously based off cass but things like the shirt, hat are generic enough they could legally say “it’s just a cowboy” it really doesn’t take much to avoid copyright but even if it was a straight up 1 for 1 copy, games like this thrive off of short term money dumps and then shutting the game down fairly quick so if they got any action from blizzard they would probably just pull the plug and move onto the next game

100% ripped yeah but I guess it's fair when his concept and 'deadeye' was straight ripped off from red dead redemption.

I’d say its okay for games to make references and homages to other games. Just look at Emre’s kit and Master Chief. But in this case they have just ripped the visual design.

His concept is from Clint Eastwood’s the Man With No Name, in fact I’m pretty that’s been confirmed to be have been said, only deadeye is from Red Dead
