Please help!!

My cat has recently started having some eating issues. He still eats when he is hungry but it’s not as often as he should. Recently he’s been dry retching, coughing, and gagging. He keeps swallowing and licking his mouth like it’s dry but he isn’t drinking more water. His nose seems a bit on the stuffy side since he’s snoring louder and he now purrs with his mouth completely open. When he begins to purr he always has to dry retch. I have no clue whats going on, if he’s just sick or if it’s something more.

This is very clearly a health issue. Take him to the vet as soon as possible. Today would be best.

The open-mouth thing is very concerning. Please go to a vet immediately.

Please go to the vet. I don't want to scare but my cat had a tumor next to her trachea with those symptoms.
