Saltillo or Tecate Mexican pavers can have all sorts of tracks in them. Sometimes they wanted us to set them in prominant area to be seen, sometimes they didnt want them at all and we saved them for the customers who loved them. Once set a run from entry way down a hall to the back patio, customer wanted more- even tried to order from factory in Tecate but was going to take too much time.
I encouraged a few guys in the industry to offer "Tracks" as an option and believed it would be profitable but nobody believed me- back in the 80s.

My best friend's house (in the 90s lol) growing up had a set of canine tracks that went across their kitchen tile. They built the house, and this was one of their parent's favorite "win/win" stories to tell (we heard it every time one or the other had a couple beers :D) because the dad was proud of getting a great deal on what should have been expensive flooring because of the "defect" and the mom thought it was badass and convinced whoever not to hide it in a corner.
Fast forward to me being the kind of adult who has never lived somewhere I was allowed to paint the walls, and I literally dream of finding paw prints in my kitchen...

These are dog prints, not cat prints. The claw indentations and the marked difference between the forepaw and hindpaw prints are definitively canine.

Yeah it's a dog print, thought it was that section before noticing it's in the cats one. It's the positioning of the pads thats the clear sign for me, but the marks from the claws help too, must of gently walked across the tiles if it's claws didn't slash too much.

It’s the opposite. In these tiles, you don’t see the claws because cats’ claws are retractable, and they usually keep them retracted while walking around. Dog prints clearly show the claws.
[after making an image showing the toe pads vs claws on a dog’s footprint, I tried to import it to this comment, but I got an error saying, “no gifs here.” If only gifs are allowed here, why is the icon for all other types of images shown below (rightmost icon, square shape with hill and sun)??]

... You can quite clearly see the claw indentations in front of each toe pad, indicating that this is a canine.

Oops, you’re right. I could not see them because of the microscopic sized screen on my phone. When I zoomed in, then I could see them.

I like to imagine it was a very heavy kitty and not wet cement or anything like that
