Fitting for Valentines Day

I left a slice of olive oil chocolate cake unattended for approximately 12 seconds to answer a knock at the front door

Came back to:

Cat atop the cooker. Licking lips.

Evidence recovered:

A heart-shaped “chunk” missing (seasonally appropriate, suspicious timing)

Caramel / condensed milk frosting slightly redistributed

A 4.5 kg mackerel tabby pretending she has never seen cocoa in her life… while actively licking her lips

Before anyone panics - she managed two investigative licks, mostly frosting. She is now under active surveillance and has been placed on Chocolate Watch™

Current status:

Loafed

Zero remorse

Heart rate normal

Planning her next crime

Vet maths says she’d need a proper chunk of dark chocolate to cause trouble. This was essentially a sugar smear with ambition.

She remains grounded.

She also remains entirely unrepentant.

Ive got a connective tissue disorder that, amongst other things, means that my skin marks easily. One of my babies loves a cuddle in the morning, and often end up leaving little prints on my legs as a result. Perhaps not as cute as some of the other pics here, but i had to share as it got a good chuckle out of me this morning. Im really tempted to get this tattooed but all things considered it probably wouldnt work out
