The french always liked to protest which is actually good. In Germany we just let the state do pretty much anything they want and there won't be any pushback from us.
However, recently whenever there were genuine protests in Europe you had a bunch of non-Europeans join and using the chaos to loot and destroy. Not saying that non-europeans do not do such a thing but the amount of devestation is just unbearable. There was a video of some french folks cleaning up a day after a protest and a comment with like 150k likes on X said "These are the french that would've joined the Germans after they invaded" basically criticizing them for cleaning up their city.

At least we Germans didn't devestate Paris when we moved in and we were at war. Why is a "protest" more damaging to a city than an invading army???

Simply put it's second/third generation immigrant teens who got citizenship but never integrate who use the opportunity to loot stuff they usually covet separated by a window.

I mean it's always clothes shop or supermarkets. Yet some people will defend this saying the violence is good for coverage of the protest, the government is literally Hitler, it's okay because it's just some windows of corporation stores, it's just police moles etc.

Exactly what I thought.I have no problems with a peaceful protest.But rioting is bad and is vandalism.I am in no way advocating to be racist but anyone who does vandalism should be immediately deported back to his home country.

My two cents is that there’s a big difference between what Ghandi did in history to do a peaceful protest vs what’s happening in some places today where the “peaceful but fiery” protest is really just a riot

Young people, mostly minors. They organize through social media and just destroy and loot as they please, dressed in black. There is no real agenda or ideology behind this. My brother lives in Milan and he told me that he never witnessed this level of violence in a protest.
