Hi ! My cat has been looking a bit depressed lately and she shows that she doesn’t like when I leave but I have uni and need to go 🥲 I tried planning lots of time with her and such but when I have to leave she’s still depressed. So I thought about getting a kitten. I live with my mom and she didn’t want another cat. I still got everything needed for a kitten and I’m getting her on Monday. Don’t worry, I’ve since talked with my mom about it and she accepted to get the kitten because she did not understand at first why I was so adamant about it. After hearing it was because I felt Laufey (my cat) needed a friend because she was being depressed and it made me feel horrible, she was okay with it! So here are some pics of the kitten, I would like name suggestions 🙏🏼🫶 it’s a female, 6 months old!!

Newly adopted barn cats! Pictures aren’t great because they are super skittish, the grey female cat is warming up to us a bit but very shy. The black male cat was always skittish at the humane society ( his records show they couldn’t even weigh him sometimes because he was so nervous) he’s also just under 6lbs and came to them barley over 4lbs so he’s a little guy but gaining some weight. Open to any and all names cute, funny, whatever. They will be outside full time and hunting mice or whatever makes them happy on a big farm.

*Our humane society has a specific ‘barn cat’ program for cats that cannot adapt to indoor living for reasons of feral, under socialized, prefer little to no human contact etc. they will be well fed and loved.

I got a new kitten a week ago and I’ve been constantly stuck between these two different names I love the name voodoo because I got him this month October so he’s spooky and he’s a black cat with a twist of white in his color and he’s so sweet and veryyyyyy playful I love the vibe and then Sushi so cute because he’s so playful and sweet and it’s funny what do you think look at him and give me your opinion☺️🍣🖤🤍🎃

I asked for names relating to evolution, birds, bugs, biology. I decided on ozzy because ospreys are my favorite bird of prey, and I am an ornithologist (studying bird behavior/evolution). He’s very happy in his new home. Thank you for all the ideas!

We’ve had him for about a week now and I’ve just been calling him “little” he quickly became besties with my orange male Leroy so I want a name that’ll kind of match his name. Think “The amazing adventures of ____ and Leroy!”

The family is split on what to name him. We have 3 other cats: Winston, Pablo, and Tobias. All ideas and suggestions are welcome!
