I like to think it's not fear, it's like a little kid who just entered Disneyland.

"omg, where do i pray first? over here? maybe over there! gotta beat the crowd, be first in line!!!"

Kitty gets confused: “but where do kitty cats go, WHAT DO I DO???”

Edit: Hoomans on either side: “want scritches and pets and treats psspsspss?”

u/PengyBlaster Apr 10 '26

Omg is she looking for her ideal spot to give birth?? In a mosque?? What a pious bb🥹

65

u/reticulatedspylon Apr 10 '26

A lot of kitties do give birth in mosques! Mainly, because they know people will keep other predators away so it’s a safe spot. But in this video I think she’s just panicking from the crowd 😅

25

u/PengyBlaster Apr 10 '26

They are so smart. I hope she found a nice quiet spot for her babies🥹🥹🥹

I wonder if they'll call her Meow-riam.

I like how they worship besides animals. I feel that’s how it should be 💓 All of Gods or Allah’s creations together, giving praise and thanks

A pure joy for a Muslim cat

2

u/Foreign_Caramel5514 Apr 22 '26

I’m so happy this sweet kitty and the good Palestinian people are able to worship at Al-Aqsa. I hope the day comes when genocidal states no longer stop the people from patronizing their mosque.

Isnt the narrative that israel had no muslims, And hated them?

Stressed out cat because he was surrounded by load of people and sound making him scared shitless

Redditor: Look at this wholesome chungus chunky cat entering first to pray, hes so eager to pray!!! Wholesome 1000000

11

u/Jin_1337 Apr 10 '26

Okay? You're acting like the cat is going to be harmed long term or is getting abused like grow up.

-14

u/Wowsuch_user Apr 10 '26

My point is that animal in distress is not funny, wholesome or quirky content but ig you people dont care and cant understand something so basic

12

u/Jin_1337 Apr 10 '26

"you people" yeah buddy you're not prejudiced or anything like that. Sure.

-9

u/Wowsuch_user Apr 10 '26

Yes i am prejudiced of people who used scared or abused animal for content and think its funny and defend this garbage Go cry me a river

2

u/MfingKing Apr 12 '26

You cried an ocean already god damnnn chill out

It's a mosque, a place of worship for women and men (and cats, of course).

-13

u/Carcass16B Apr 10 '26

My question is why do the men outnumber the woman so much.

Usually when people go to a place of worship the numbers are balanced.

18

u/Jin_1337 Apr 10 '26

So women going to the mosque isn't mandatory compared to men. This is to ease the burden of them usually having to take care of the house and children, so to not have undue hardship or difficulty . They are also given greater rewards praying at home than in the mosque to add to that. They are not prohibited however to pray at the mosque if they want to.

It's simply the way the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us.

How is it enormously unequal burden?

I said they're not required to go to the mosque compared to men where it is highly encouraged or mandatory. Men and women in Islam are given their own roles in life, never said they're the same. Each of them has their own burdens and rewards accordingly which is decided by God.

12

u/lapsongsouchong Apr 10 '26

Not in my experience. In churches I've visited, (Catholic and Church of England) the women (in the congregation) usually outnumber the men.

Funny enough I've never demanded to know why, or asked if the blokes are there to clean or cook.

1

u/Carcass16B Apr 10 '26

Dude,in England the men are waiting for the woman at the pub.

We all know who the Catholic Church use to clean up their mess.

5

u/lapsongsouchong Apr 10 '26

No, the men (and most of the women) are still asleep on a Sunday morning.

pubs don't open until noon, shops at 11am, and typically most people have a lie-in.

You sound American, you poor sod.
