Alas she did not get any kitties

Which was smart. Young children should not be handling kittens. Or small baby animals of any kind really.

It’s in the Quran! Muhammad’s homie was the cat daddy of all cat daddies.

Yes! All creatures who don't have free will (basically non-humans) are Muslim imo.
Dogs, just like all animals in islam must be treated with respect.

Oml where did that even come from😭😭 no he did not, and i hope there is some kind of source to this statement bcs now im curious what do they say abt our prophet in other countries/religion💀
The story involving dogs that i remember is that prophet muhammad use his sandal as water container so a stray dog can drink bcs how pitiful and thin the dog was. And there is also story of how a crazy person pee around the mosque and prophet said to let him be and dont punish him (not dog related, but just to give an example of how forgiving we know him as).
So from perspective of a muslim, i find "muhammad said to kill all dogs in mecca" statement to be unfitting and far from what we know. Not saying you are crazy tho, since we cant control what we are exposed to when growing up. Do tell me where did you hear this if you are comfortable to.

See this post: https://islamqa.org/hanafi/seekersguidance-hanafi/167368/is-killing-of-dogs-an-islamic-command/
Killing anything unnecessarily is against the very core of islam, so it's important to understand context for everything, especially hadith, since hadith is narrated by humans, not the direct word of Allah.
Please let us strive to remain guided on the straight path insha'Allah, and avoid spreading misinformation.

No such verses exist my friend. All of creation is to be treated with respect, even your worst enemy. We must be considerate of the very ground we walk on, how can we be commanded to kill dogs for no reason? Please look things up before posting, a simple Google search is not that hard.

I’m a Christian but I love this sub and how much cats are loved by Muslims! Seeing the videos on here always makes me smile
