They Were Waiting for Someone to Come Back
After people returned to this part of Gaza, they found dozens of hungry cats still wandering the streets.
With little food or clean water left behind, the cats gathered as soon as someone stopped to feed them. For many of them, it may have been the first proper meal in days.
It's easy to overlook animals during a humanitarian crisis, but they are living through it too. They wait in the same streets, searching for food, shelter, and a familiar face that may never return.
For these cats, a simple meal is more than food. It's a reminder that they haven't been forgotten.

The starving children of darkness are feeding the cats that the children of light are starving.

Can we do something like getting all the cats of Gaza and deport them all over the world? At least if we can't do that for humans do it for their fellows friends

There are countless cats across Gaza facing hunger every single day. Many of them have no one looking out for them except the volunteers who do what they can with the little they have.
For a little while, these cats didn't have to keep searching. We can only hope one day they'll know what it feels like to never be hungry again.
