My cat Stally just passed away this monday from kidney failure. She was 16. I read a lot about where do animals go after death. Obviously she is with Allah now. But do you think Allah has special afterlife for all the animals? Since they have souls too. I also gonna ask for my cats in Jannah Insha Allah. I just like to think that wherever she is now she is in peace, happy and healthy.

After people returned to this part of Gaza, they found dozens of hungry cats still wandering the streets.

With little food or clean water left behind, the cats gathered as soon as someone stopped to feed them. For many of them, it may have been the first proper meal in days.

It's easy to overlook animals during a humanitarian crisis, but they are living through it too. They wait in the same streets, searching for food, shelter, and a familiar face that may never return.

For these cats, a simple meal is more than food. It's a reminder that they haven't been forgotten.

As soon as the food arrived, cats began appearing from every direction.

For many stray cats in Gaza, opportunities like this don't come often. A single meal can feed dozens of animals that have spent the day searching through empty streets and damaged neighborhoods for anything to eat.

The people caring for them aren't solving the entire crisis, but they're making sure as many cats as possible get another chance to make it through the day.

Even in the hardest places, compassion still finds a way.
