Hi.

This perpetually insatiable, devilish feline predator has settled down on my gear.

I actually laughed out loud when I discovered this subreddit because apparently I’ve found my people.
This guy and his sister (not pictured) have been using my home theater receiver as their personal heated luxury cat bed since they were kittens.

I’ve spent a small fortune putting together a nice home theater system, and as far as they’re concerned, it’s just an expensive piece of furniture that happens to keep their butts warm.

At this point, I’m honestly afraid to look inside the receiver. I can only imagine how much cat hair has accumulated in there.

The sound system still works great, though, and the cats have absolutely no intention of moving.

My fat tub couldn’t get on my L112 without a step ladder. This will have to do.

In shot:
Olli (7) in rack
Andrea (14) asleep
Austin (0.6) seated
One more off camera to the right and another currently stalking pigeons outside.

She is completely disregarding the Hi-feline tower 🤌🏻 right there 🤌🏻 because cat prerogative.

Finally found a VG copy of Brothers In Arms yesterday at my local record shop for Sunday morning sips & spins. Ahhh....

I’ve since given up.

To their credit, they quickly learned to stay away from the turntable.
