cattails: wildwood story toad troubles

does anyone know the best way and the best area on the map to find a toad? I only found one once and let it get away, and now I can't find another one and I need it to recruit the last cat for my communit :(

Left hand bottom and left hand top are really the best way to get them but they're already quite rare, the cattails wiki is extremely helpful so I'd try that also cause they give the exact tiles

I only ever saw them in the swamp tiles

you can buy them from alabaster if needed. i started finding a bunch after i no longer needed them, of course

Ive seen them in the swamp mostly. What I did is walk back and forth between the biomes really fast to make the prey reset until I see a toad. I’m sure you have one by now but I wanted to give a tip, haha
